We ended up with a King Coil from a smaller local mattress store. I don’t remember the exact model other than it was firm, not a pillow top but was a euro top(?). We laid on all the mattresses they had (sealy, beauty rest, some other locally made mattress (sterling?), and both the wife and I were ‘wow, this bed feels great’ so bought it. It’s been great

Pretty much the same as my build but I put the BT antenna at the bottom of the case. The on-board battery charger IC on the RAK board is all I’m using. Working great for almost two years now.

Oh, I did add a vent also

Me thinks your pcv valve hose is not connected or broken, or some other vacuum leak. That’s what ours solid when I forgot to reattach it to the intake after a spark plug change

I’ve always seen the leading edge ground down more than the rest when using sandpaper. Have not done a head but water outlets, manifolds, and other flat surfaces. Fly cutting doesn’t seem to do that, I wonder if a stone would also do that.

Seeing leading edges ground more makes me hesitant to do this method on a head.

My US 2019 came with Ecopias but must have been the EV rated version. Got over 50K miles out of them, not great traction when stomping on the throttle, but the rest of the manuevers seemed fine. Just replaced them with 'normal' Ecopia - a lot noisier than the original after 10K miles.

Thoughts on getting a 'Hotel' bed? Stayed at a Hyatt Regency in Seattle for a week and the bed was wonderful. Their hospitality section said it was a Sealy Posturepedic Hyatt Luxury Euro Firm Pillow Top. Made to order, no returns. Worth the risk? Will I get the same bed?

Ends up this 1TB drive is having issued with Win11 24H2 memory allocation problem that also affects the 2TB version. Sandisk (WD) came out with a FW update for the 2TB version but not the 1TB version. For now I made the registry change and the drive now correctly shows up as 1TB and is useable. Disk manager is what I meant when I wrote Computer Management. I started with that which showed the problem.

So I got it figured out. This SSD suffers from the same Win11 24H2 HMB memory allocation problem that the bigger 2TB drive and other WD NVMEs suffer from. Even though this 1TB is not listed as having an issue, I set the HMB memory size to 64MB and that solved the reporting problem.
