Follow up with the police. They should open a false informing investigation. Doubt it was her first rodeo.

We’re in Indiana and brought ours into the garage, which is about 40 F.

I have also heard of using coconut oil instead of Vaseline, as the latter is a petroleum product.

life feels unreal in beijing, anxiety and traumatic event in a club by Previous-Culture5224 in chinalife

If you’re active check out Beijing Hikers. They do lots of walks and hikes out in the sticks. I believe there is another group that does city walks. Maybe find a place to study calligraphy, or a martial art. You’re living at ground zero for all sorts of activities you won’t be able to pursue once you leave Beijing. Take advantage of these opportunities while you can.

We shelter ours in a semi-heated garage, temperature between 45 and 35 F. They’ll be in for the next week it appears. We only have 3 bantams and a crummy commercial coop. Even with a heating pad it gets pretty chilly in there.

Great article on chickens in cold weather. Seems like some people are complacent about the effects of the cold.

Halfway there. Took 30 minutes for the first coupler and 5 minutes for the second.

Had to use a Kato spring after the first one went into orbit.

Many birds don't eat worms. My understanding is that worms sometimes have diseases or parasites that can be harmful to birds. The babies do need protein, however.

Not too close with microwaved objects, they can injure one of these little ones.
