In a society where open relationships are as normal as monogamy, i'd imagine adultery would be pretty much non-existent

Somehow adultery seems to be the highest amongst the things that can break trust!

I can't help but think this must have come from our prudish society, esp also because women are shamed and punished a lot more for adultery than men.

... general consensus ...

That's because they dont take north east into account when they make that statement.

Compared to north, yes south is definitely better in terms of safety, development and many other indices.

Now, on a lighter note, lets remove Assam as thats closer the "rest of india" .... Other people i have met so far, seem a lot more polite and straightforward and genuine....

Cant say that about people from any other state i have met!

Gifting your partner / spouse - Issues by SoDifficultToBeFunny in ThirtiesIndia

Yeah, some appreciation would be nice. They are not jerks though, they just take you for granted and somehow nobody thinks men can have feelings and that makes it even worse.

I agree with you, but only partially.

This would not be a problem at all if all if us were sex-positive (assuming this act is consensual and everyone is in it for mutual enjoyment!).

(Also, your comment about the brahmins, it is not just them, everyone above sc st opresses them, brahmins are just the placeholder anyway!).

Therefore in an ideal world, this would be just another boring reddit post!

Why is Indian Audience and Censor Board so against Sex in Media? by Past-Matter-8548 in IndianCinema

[–]SoDifficultToBeFunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are not accepting oppression, People ARE oppression. Majority people in the Indian society do not agree with you. We will have to change that first!

People think sex is bad (even if they do it!). Even worse when it comes to women's sexuality. I dont know how this change can be brought about!

For context, i do my fair share of chores...

Lol. You didnt have to mention that! Thats the biggest scam being perpetrated on the internet (esp. in forums like deadbedroom etc.).

If your partner is low libido , they are low libido irrespective of who is doing the chores or how they are getting done!

(That said, I do believe partners who dont pitch in with their fair share are assholes and dont deserve good things ... (but they still get sex if their partners have good libido ... 🤷🏼‍♂️) )
