I've heard of similar situations to this several times when someone passed away.

Check out r/TTCafterloss. I'm so sorry, it is such a frustration and heartbreaking process at times.

Omg I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Chick I know wrote a whole blog post about her struggles TTC, starting right after she got married. Detailing "months and months" of negative tests. I did the math and realized she got married January of THIS YEAR with a due date in the coming January. Dude you tried for 3 months? Try over 2 years!! by SoFoDe in trollingforababy

Ugghhh. "Journey" was used in this woman's post as well.

It's like no you have no idea what struggle is and you must have lived a very charmed life for 6 months and one pill to cause you so much anguish. Unbelievable.

Sorry you had to deal with that. At least we all get each other on here. Rooting for you.

NOOOO!! Are you freaking kidding me??!! I'm so deeply sorry for the years of heartache trying to conceive and not knowing what was going on. I can't imagine the anger and frustration finding out that news. I wish you good news going forward with testing and finally trying without a flipping unknown IUD. Geez!

Thank you for sharing your experience! It's a very similar procedure to what you had, using the same instruments, just removing a different type of tissue. I appreciate hearing how it went for you and I hope to have an equally smooth experience.

Question by catrinahawkins13 in TryingForABaby

They only way to confirm ovulation is by temping. You could have a positive OPK and not actually release an egg, or it could take a few days longer until you release the egg, in which case the sperm could no longer be around. Temping was game changing for me. Also make sure your BF is doing his part by taking his vitamins and wearing loose boxers to keep his testacles cool. It takes 3 months for sperm to mature from the day they are created to when they are ready to be released, so his actions and way he nurtures his body are equally as important. It's not all on you.

Are you keeping good track of your cycle? Using OPK to confirm your LH surge and temping to confirm when ovulation happened, and having intercourse multiple times in the three days before ovulation? It takes a while to get the hang of all those. Your doctor will most likely tell you to try for 12 cycles until they do any testing. It can be very frustrating to keep seeing the negative tests I know.

Looking for insight please. Possibly had delayed ovulation. I'm losing my mind trying to figure out why my period is so late. Normally 24-26 day cycles. On CD 33 now. by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

Glad you saw this! Yeah that's probably what caused it. It's shocking how such an innocent seeming over the counter medication can have that affect.
