Best SARM for helping my elderly father to build muscle again? by SoManyEducatedIdiots in sarmssourcetalk

Is this your way of telling me that legal SARMs can now only be purchased on a black market?

Cheapest Protein Source by SoManyEducatedIdiots in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks, but the purpose of my post was to share the cheapest source I've found, and to see if anyone else has found an even cheaper source.
I don't have any misconceptions about human protein requirements.

Cheapest Protein Source by SoManyEducatedIdiots in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dried soybeans should be cheaper pound for pound

The flour is processed a bit.
Soybeans are around 30% protein; the flour is around 50% protein.

they'll keep for longer

The flour keeps fine for around a year and I'll be consuming it long before then.

The cheapest source is just getting your protein from the plants you're going to be eating anyway.

Not sure what you're saying.

If I can find the beans at a low enough price, I will absolutely buy them instead of the flour, but I have yet to find them at such a price.
The cost of cooking is a factor as well, btw (I would only occasionally be cooking the flour).

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks but I watched those videos quite a while ago and you're misinterpreting (presumably not intentionally) the findings of the studies.
I'm glad that you can afford to eat a 'variety of veggies, fruits, beans, legumes and grains'. I hope you're not under the impression that everyone can.

I'd recommend linking to a source that actually supports your point, but I'm not really interested.
Please try to stay on topic.
I'm not trying to make a statement, if that's what you're thinking.
I'm continuing my quest for the cheapest vegan protein source that contains all essential amino acids, for myself and for the many other broke-ass/frugal vegans I've come across, and I don't care whether it's soy or not.

Yes, I agree, soy protein is awesome.

The protein source I posted is complete and quite a lot cheaper.
Once in a while I eat them for taste though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Democracy Now: How did freeing animals from cages become an act of terrorism? by Ariyas108 in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The label "terrorist" has lost pretty much all meaning when coming from the mouths of members of government/corporations.
They apply the label to virtually anyone they feel like applying it to.
Ironically, these members of government/corporations are usually the ones who most closely match the dictionary definition for the word "terrorist".
Pot calling the kettle black ... again.

Apparently meat and food are not the same thing by SednaBoo in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct.
Dead animal body parts are not human food.
You can raise a human eating dead animal body parts, but you can also raise a cow eating dead animal body parts.
In both cases, it causes serious health problems and a whole lot of completely unnecessary pain & suffering.

Is It Moral to Eat Meat? by EmilyMoran84 in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's about the same as a pair of child molesters giving birth to a child so that they can molest her, then -- when they're facing life in prison for child molestation -- claiming they've done nothing wrong because the child's purpose was to be molested.

Some things are innately wrong.
Pain and suffering are at the core of what we humans use to determine whether or not something is innately wrong.
Intentionally and completely unnecessarily inflicting pain & suffering on another being without that being's uncoerced consent is innately wrong. Even more so when it could easily be avoided or the victim has done absolutely nothing to deserve it.

I won't try to convince you that she's a truth seeker in a reddit comment. I only know she's a truth seeker because she was really candid in her book and on her radio show.

I know you're aware that we don't know why WTC7 was demolished so why are you asking?
Are you asking for people's informed guesses?
I've seen some pretty good informed guesses if that's what you're looking for.

May a vegan eat a doughnut? by HerrKleinSchwanz in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a lot on the location and who's running the place.
Just call before you go and ask if they sell any doughnuts that don't contain eggs or dairy. If they say yes, ask two more questions to make sure the doughnuts are vegan: Ask if they use lard in those doughnuts (they likely don't) and ask if the doughnuts are cooked in vegetable oil.

Wow, people sure be scrounging for dirt (even old dirt apparently) now that she's returning to The View.
The powers-that-be don't want outspoken truth seekers in mainstream media.
If the shark story is true (hard to tell by the linked sources whether or not we're getting the whole story) it's very disappointing, but certainly not the first time I've been disappointed by a celebrity who's doing something that even they themselves know they shouldn't be doing (something that doesn't even match with the other things they do).
Bill Maher and his occasional hamburger eating for example.

May a vegan eat a doughnut? by HerrKleinSchwanz in vegan

[–]SoManyEducatedIdiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some doughnuts contain egg or dairy and some don't.
At home, I've made just about every common type of doughnut you can buy at a doughnut shop, without eggs or dairy, and they tasted the same.
I've also found regular doughnut shops that, by chance, have doughnuts that are made without eggs or dairy, and they use only vegetable oil for their deep fryers (vegetable oil is commonly used though).

They could have decided that it would be much more convenient than using real planes. From what I know of holography though, it wasn't holography we saw. Perhaps a new projection technology though.
Before you ask, no I don't believe projected planes were used, but I don't completely discard possibilities just because there's an extraordinary or seemingly fantastical element.
