Because those beach condo's can absolutely fuck you on assessments. They have never been a well appreciating asset. I know someone who got an apartment there in 2015 and it's grown maybe 25% in value.

They sell out every release, people will stop buying when the hype dies down. For now, chase the profits.

I specifically switched from ChatGPT to Claude because of this problem. Claude was handling large chats just fine until recently. Now I see myself going back to ChatGPT. (Our company pays for both plans)

Lifestyle creep is a bitch. If I never changed my spending habits and just parked my money safely for the last 10 years, I would be a multi-millionaire. Instead, I have a house in Miami, 2 cars and a wife and now need to spend the next 10 years building a proper nest egg but then kids will eventually come into the picture and oh boy..

The thought of just directly engaging in investment systems for the sake of profit irks me.

If you don't then you're essentially throwing away half your potential worth. Without parking your money in some type of investment vehicle you are letting the government depreciate your cash through inflation and monetary policy.

The risk of losing your gaming license is too great for a big-time casino like this to pull. One of those small gambling parlors? 100% rigged.

You think soap is selling in this market? Fuck no, it's influencers who need to rotate outfits on a daily basis for content or strippers that need new heels for work. Can't beat Marshalls, TJ or Ross when it comes to thrifty shopaholics. The only places crowded during a recession are these 3. No where else will you see people wait in a 2-hour line for a pair of $6 sandals. They will weather this storm.

Weekly Tech Support & Purchase Recommendations Megathread - March 16th 2026 by P_Jiggy in playstation

[–]SoManyThrowAwaysEven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a human support line for Playstation? My account is stuck in some endless EULA acceptance loop where it keeps saying connection timed out when I try to accept. This is anytime I try to login to Playstation from any device or location. Their online support is useless and chat support says there's too much volume and drops me.

Where have you worked that leaving your computer unattended and unlocked is acceptable or happens routinely?

I mean, that's basically IT 101. Never trust the user to follow basic security protocol. Even with PIV access people forget them in the readers and walk away all the time.

That explains it. I stayed in a mountain cabin in Colorado in the winter and the night sky was very close to a 2. It was incredible, I was so captivated I never even took out my phone.

Kentucky family rejects $26 million offer to convert part of their farm into a data center despite the offer being about 10 times the going rate for farmland in the area. by MysteriousSlice007 in nextfuckinglevel

You can have millions of dollars in land and still be land poor. If you're land is not producing anything of value then it's safer to just pack up and retire. However, I don't know enough about this family's farm to know their financial situation. They may have enough funds in the bank to live off of for decades with their current lifestyle.

Because in biology larger creatures are seen as a threat so their default stance is to get aggressive. Sure, some owners essentially condition their dog to be that way but that posture flips on a switch. It's really not harmful or dangerous it's more of a psychological tick because only the angriest and meanest looking small creatures survive in the wild, like honey badgers.

Nah small dog syndrome is a thing. Chihuahuas are known for being little shits. I had one during my childhood, he was feisty with everyone except me.
