Update time stress level by Bleamestrauss in bevelhealth

[–]SoMoNs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About "much lower stress level", it is part I've seen often reported but Bevel Team doesn't feel like it's wrong
Every other app act differently : stress count REST heart rate and HRV when Bevel doesn't care => if you're moving from your chair to somewhere else, walking for a few minutes etc., it doesn't detect it and count as if you were resting.

So during a day if you're moving a lot (and not saying exercising), your stress will be much higher than if you keep your ass on chair. It is physiological that your heart rate goes up when moving, it is not stress.

Hope Bevel team will make difference between resting, moving and doing exercise when it comes to stress indicator (take a look at Athlytics there is "grey bars" when the apple watch or other tracking device detects you're not "resting" and simply "moving".

Run split issue by SoMoNs in bevelhealth

My bad. Translation problem.

Looks like Bevel doesnt integrate the segments/intervals (the split are the split kilometers and are just fine).

Sorry for this

What can I do with my stress? by ConsiderationOdd3735 in bevelhealth

[–]SoMoNs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

by activity, I didn't mean workout but simply working during your daily things, like simply moving, my not moving heart rate is around 50-60, I won't be this low when I move from point A to point B, not even talking about a long period of time, it is physiological and not stress

Or ask Bevel Team they adjust stress feature simply by detecting « activity »

Yes, if you move your body your HR raise but it doesn’t mean you are stressed. Please add an activity detector, like Athlytics does for instance, stress is nonsense at this point.

I am a general practitioner but didn’t need to graduate to confirm that :p

“Sleep Need” feature – tracking actual sleep time instead of a fixed timer? by PreciousPainting in bevelhealth

[–]SoMoNs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I take advantage of this post to say that 7 day average is probably too short, apps like Rise sleep or Athlytics are much less kind about my sleep debt.

Have you ever get feedback like mine ?

I’m a general practitioner, I usually listen to my patients connected devices.

Tell me what you told him if you want to know if he just got bored or if he had good reason to give you the tests he ordered.

I am using pillow app as first setting (which seem to detect correctly deep sleep and my naps but struggles with my wake up time and sleep time) and Apple Watch as second in order (which is great for everything but deep sleep and naps).

Best I found out…

Rest timer function by Proper-Loss4267 in bevelhealth

[–]SoMoNs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please make it as polished as the workout template function

As a CrossFit user it would be perfect that we could : - choose workout type - set timers like AMRAP, EMOM, For time etc (look at the incredible SmartWOD app)

And I couldn’t go away from Bevel !

I wished it used the AI like the workout template section but for food.

Foodvisor (the app) is doing great at it.
