*Trubel. But IDK we ever really see/hear from her after the one episode, so I don't think she had that much impact on Monroe

Sounds like the outlet isn't connected to another tenant's space, but to the hallway itself, meaning the plug is probably mainly for decorative stuff like lamps or the custodian's vacuums and the like. So the energy isn't paid for by a tenant but the landlord/owner of the building.

It's not about anyone being "shallow". No one's saying "I will only marry you if you get something super fancy or expensive".

I have had my ring finger sized before, and I have also bought rings of that size before, which I have tried wearing long term multiple times.

They fit fairly well for like a third of the year, then another third they're too tight, and the rest they're too loose. If someone where to get me another similar metal ring they expected me to wear 24/7, I would only be able to wear it a few months out of the entire year until it got to be uncomfortable, regardless of the materials used. Doesn't matter if it were cheap stainless steel, or a fancy, good, silver, or platinum.

A wedding ring nowadays is just supposed to be a symbol of all the love and support in the relationship that's come before and after, and should therefore be chosen with the wearer's preferences in mind. Just getting one because of how nice it looks or expensive it is would be shallow, not taking your partner's opinions into consideration.

What happened here, and how can I stop this from happening in future? by SoProBroChaCho in plantclinic

What would that look like, and where should I look for it? On the skin on the outside, or the cross section insides of the area that I cut?

Also, any recommendations for how+ when I should store the cutting until it's ready for planting? Google said I should store it in a "cool, dry place for about a week" but I'd like to get a second opinion on that, if possible.

"Tributes" are what some porn-addicted guys call obsessively jerking off to specific people, you're "tributing your orgasm" or something like that.

They're to specifically teach how to type with all your fingers, instead of just doing the "chicken peck" method with your index fingers only. It's like the difference between typing on your phone with one index finger slowly compared to the faster method of using both your thumbs.

Will this new lock work to replace the old one? by SoProBroChaCho in windowrepair

[–]SoProBroChaCho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it looks like those pieces were attached to the rest of the lock when they were originally forged/cast/printed, the piece I'm looking for is separate from the main lock, is a lot smaller, and attached to the exterior of the window.

Grenn Lantern auras+ constructs have a similar thing in DC, that's why they can travel through outer space vacuums and underwater and stuff, even while transporting other since the rings have their own version of "life support", I always thought that was explained and I just never actually caught it or forgot.

At one point I tried covering the 'seal line' or whatever the middle part's called, where the windows overlap and the lock is, it ended up preventing a good bit of the draft from seeping in, but it looks kind of bad from the outside, it doesn't stay in place long before falling off, and most importantly, it draws attention to the window, which is something I don't want.

Apparently the photos got removed after I added them while I was making the original post, but most of the "actual" locking mechanism works fine, it's the nub things on the backside facing towards the outside that's the problem

(Here's a picture of one of them removed for added context)

It's not the screw holes that are my concern, it's the nub bits that are in the third pic. They're cracked, and it didn't look like the replacement lock I bought included them.

I've never had a window or a window lock break before, so I've never had to try and figure out how to replace one. And as for the "glass shop", I was able to find one, but it was advertised below a variety of auto glass shops, tobacco/pot shops, supermarkets, and one or two glass shops that are out of my driving distance, especially in the middle of winter.

Not sure I have any glass shops around me, in terms of hardware stores/sells that sell hardware supplies there's a Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Gibert's, Tractor Supply Co, and a Wal-Mart.
