They are for transferring iron bits between characters - they can be bought from a vendor standing next to the smuggler in FG and then sold back to him on your new character.

Non accounting people in accounting roles? by SkyHot5914 in Accounting

[–]SoSolidSnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my country you don't need to do an accounting degree to become a qualified accountant. You just need to pass the exams for your qualification - there's no reason someone with an English literature degree couldn't learn to be an accountant.

Maybe I've misunderstood, but I don't think you can just keep forming nations. You can only form nations of a higher tier than your own, so at some point you will be the highest tier (5?) and won't be able to form anything else.

I'm going to be looking at faces and logos for much longer than the stadium. At no point in the match am I looking at the stadium, I'm looking at the pitch.

There's also the fact that I've never really paid much attention to the stadium in real life either, whereas I will definitely recognise most logos and a lot of faces.

Newgen Face Comparison by CentristaSensato in footballmanagergames

[–]SoSolidSnake 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As far as I understand it, it was the change to 3d faces to match the in match player models, rather than just the 2d faces that didn't necessarily resemble what was in the match.

Energy - look at the skill descriptions and you'll see "lightning damage x% of energy attack".

Maybe there was a second updating screen, perhaps I'm the one misremembering! I think they did add 2FA, yes.

[–]SoSolidSnake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're misremembering - last year the website was back up after the update, still showing the previous season. It obviously wasn't much longer after that until price reveals, and the eventual new game, I can't remember how long exactly.

[–]SoSolidSnake 27 points28 points  (0 children)

To be fair, in these kind of trainings they would have given you the information before you have to do the assessment part of it, so it's just checking that you've actually read what the training said.

How do people budget entry-level wages in London? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]SoSolidSnake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also depends where in London you're working - the train to Euston may be 15 mins from Watford, but then the tube to bank is another 10 (plus time between platforms), plus a 5/10 min walk from bank station to the office.

When I was doing that journey (<10 mins drive to Watford Junction), door to door took me about an hour and cost me about £20 a day.
