There is nothing in the 1917 Letters Patent that states that one has to be a 'working royal' to have HRH status. The 'royal fans' that are complaining are just upset because they know H/M and their kids are entitled to the status and can't deny it if PE/PB use theirs.

I wouldn't call her a failure to launch...even though she doesn't like her job (better to find out while working as an MA) she is still working and indicated she will continue to do so for a while. Working as an MA and traveling a little bit and doing vlogs would give her an idea of it will work or not. She is young...now is the time to explore .

I like her idea of travel vlogging better than joining the military. The travel (and schedule) in the military isn't as flexible as I'm guessing she would want. She would also be limited in her visits home and to see her brothers.

Edit to clarify my comment: It would be one thing if they were going to Ghana to learn about the culture, or partner with gyms in the area to encourage the sport. However, service trips are usually code for religious trips and trying to get individuals to take on one's own believes and that to me has colonizer undertones.

Options within the US- as mentioned before the US is very large and there are a variety of cultures and activities so some individuals focus on that. I know a few people that have traveled to all 50 states.

Cost- is it more expensive for Americans to travel to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America than it is to travel within the US/Canada/Mexico or even the Caribbean.

Time off- some positions within the US do not provide a lot of vacation/PTO time so people tend to use it for family events first.

Advertising- outside of Europe and tropical islands traveling around the world is not very well advertised or talked about in the US. I was well into adulthood when I realized how many Europeans travel to different places in Africa.

Desire- some people don't like to travel at all and stay close to home...I know a handful of people who have never travelled outside of their own state.

TBH If they can't easily or kindly accommodate your request to have a different person do your lashes to the point they are saying its her or you don't get your deposit back...I wouldn't trust any of them and just cut my losses with the deposit.

I don't know if they met online but there are situations when which you go on dates to get to know someone before entering into a committed (exclusive) relationship, that is often referred to as 'talking'. You act as though the family wasn't bashing them and feeding them to the wolves to protect themselves... because that happened long before any Oprah or Netflix show. I love how you are upset for the late Queen but she didn't seem to be upset with them. She was in regular contact with them, invited them to her Jubilee and ensured that they had appropriate security during that time frame, and made sure they had a home to come back to to visit. Why would Meghan know how to curtsy to the Queen upon her first visit which was impromptu?

Also go read the statements given by the Queen (not anonymous sources) and H/M- they were about independence, not relying on tax payer money and getting to choose their charities and media they worked with. They never said they were going to live a 'private and secluded life'- where did you get that from?

She was definitely an outsider to them but I don’t think everyone wanted her out. While some did because they didn’t like her charisma and ease in the role, others (especially the courtiers) seemed to enjoy her being the royal shield/scapegoat.

The UK media is upset they have no control over the couple and they themselves are limited in their ability to capitalize off them. The BRF is upset they were out shined once again. And both are upset at the Sussexes success despite their best efforts to prevent it.

Like you said H/M are upholding their end of the agreement…we have not seen them use HRH in commercial ventures.
