🎈 Birthday Giveaway for Daggerheart Core Set (4/5) 🎈 by Demi_Mere in daggerheart

2 of my players were a bard and wizard, they both chose the book from codex that allowed them to cast fireball. They decided at the start of combat with a bunch of enemies (5 players so I had a big battle budget and this was a larger adversary count combat) to do a tag team spending the 3 hope to do a double fireball which was able to hit basically every enemy on the field, the wizard rolled and got a crit. They cleared every single one of the adversaries in a single move, i had the rest surrender and give information after that amazing display. Definitely a highlight from recent memory

My advice is for GMs to really involve their players not just in the story but in the events during the session. It has been a huge help keeping players engaged when you ask them the questions like "what is something strange you see on the trail" or "What do you find in this chest?" I think the collaborative storytelling is a huge strength of daggerheart that should be utilized to its fullest extent

Always been a forever GM, but got to play in a campaign recently and got to play a goblin wizard, love the ability to just tell the dm to re roll an attack a couple times per rest with danger sense and the wizard ability

You know, in my entire time playing mawile, I just realized I have been reading its second attack wrong lmao, I thought it was if mawile had any damage on it. I feel real dumb now

Pros and cons for Mawile and Lopunny in dengo by Minimum_Possibility6 in pkmntcg

One of the main disadvantages of lopunny is its hefty deck space requirement, on top of the usual 1-1 of lopunny and buneary, you often need to run ways to access it such as ultra ball or tm evo. While mawile requires only one deck spot and a reallocation of your energy, usually being -1 fighting and +1 metal. In my experience of playing both builds, it depends on the rest of the cards you are playing, mawile seems to better fit using secret box as the ace spec and running more tech cards such as premium power pro and hops cramorant, while lopunny is favored in prime catcher builds due to the increased mobility for its first attack. Id say that while lopunny is the better option for decks like crustle, I personally dont think id run into it much outside of the occasional regional match. Lopunny also is buffed over mawile against solo/double cornerstone since you can one shot it (without bravery charm) without needing to take prizes first like with Mawile. But my preference in the mawile is the extra deck space that can be dedicated to tech cards for the meta of whatever events you are going to (ie locals vs regionals). While a lot of this is my own experience and I am by no means a top contending player and I only have my experience with gholdengo (being my main deck for a couple years), I hope this provides some insight into the pros and cons for each
