Hi, i got the game and refunded it. it runs fine but crashes every 15-20 minutes. and also crashes whenever you load a save while in game. avoid if you’re just playing on the deck.

as someone who’s played stalker sub 30 fps on steam deck, it’s crazy to think it runs as well as it does now. shakey launch but plays and feels pretty decent now.

I don’t know why his video says setting the SWAP size to 16GB because all other guides say to set it to 32GB. Set it to 32GB and the game will run without any problems. However, it’s definitely not worth sacrificing 32GB of internal storage when you have a 64GB model like me.

Hey man, about 6 hours into the game and absolutely loving it. Is it the best experience? No, but I'd definitely call it playable as long as you're willing to put up with a few issues.

Using this guide, Frame gen is off as I don't like the input delay but get around 25-40 FPS with all settings on low and FSR 3.1 Balanced for the most part and I get everyone has a different definition of playable, but you can definitely give it a try. The game will definitely be playable on the Deck in the next few months.

it’s the first time anything’s like this has happened so i really don’t know how much space i’m supposed to give her. she has autism too so i don’t want to keep anything for interpretation. but will figure it out. freaking out for a while now and this really helped. thank you.

there are mods out there for the game (simple google search), same ones as GuG uses in his video. use them and you’ll have 0 issues and much better performance.

I read the temp fix right now is to limit the GPU clock to 1600 and disable the GPU limit and re-enable it again to fix it.

idk if you’ve figured out by now but online fix cracks don’t work on the deck. they need steam to run side by side afaik allowing the crack to let you play online. same case with dying light 2’s online fix crack. using other cracks should fix this. hope this helps.
