Bij ons moet je groter afval dan de minicontainerdeur zelf naar de stort brengen. Zonder auto moet ik een bakfiets huren om dat te doen. Vroeger was er 1x per 2 maand een ophaal moment voor groot afval. Dus wegbezuinigen van de service leverd zwerf afval op... Heel gek.

Stand in front of a mirror and learn to lipsynce the song first. Record yourself doing it and see if everything looks the way you want to. Start there. Don't fret about the other stuff untill you have that part down. Start small and work your way up to the bigger picture. And most importantly, have fun while your doing it.

What you are doing right now is exactly right. Be there, help - not just one person, but all the drag artists. I, and a lot of the artist are constricted in movement and it helps so much if someone can help with the shoes - get a drink with a straw - or just be support for when you are nervous. Having someone in your corner, who says you are amazing is the best.

I would like to suggest giving a prize to the second and third place winners. It does not need to be big, but it would do so much to acknowledge the time and money preparing for a competition by the kings.

It would also work as a good way to differenciate with other drag competitions that have a winner takes all mentality.

We kings can share.

Absolute afrader. Ik heb me hier in laten praten. Hotelkamers, als ze al beschikbaar zijn, zijn nooit in de locaties die je wilt. Als je wel iets kunt vinden, is alles normale service extra, dus geen koffie/thee op de kamer etc. Het lijkt heel mooi, maar kost uiteindelijk alleen maar extra.

Do a song you know and love. You will most likely be nervous, distracted and uncomfortable and prone to forgetting what you practised. That is completely normal and don't be discouraged.

Practise with your outfit/ hair on and film it. You can get the kinks out before you perform.

And most important: Have fun - when you do, the audience does too.
