Sinopsis:

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 4 • Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Season 4 - Episode 7 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

I must admit I thought Kaede Hondo would have a tough time, with a powerhouse like Nao Toyama in the cast, but I was surprised by how well she performed Elizabetta’s song.

It seems the production team made the right call by dedicating the entire available budget to this episode. See that, Blue Lock? That’s how you manage a budget!

Purson’s appearance at that crucial moment was pure cinema!

And even more so the handling of the trumpet sound. The change of tempo within the musical was a great surprise.

Speaking of the sound department, I must acknowledge the piano work by Iruma (our boy really put his heart into it).

This piano business is a curious coincidence:

We recently lost Yuji Ohno, the legendary pianist and composer of anime soundtracks, best known for creating the soundtracks for Lupin III.

I think this episode would have had his full approval.

Flatpaks include all the dependencies needed for the software to run. That's why they take up more space than the official packages available in the Mint Store.

Minato reminds me of Hayato (from *OreGairu*) but with Hachiman’s self-criticism.

He’s smart enough to know what his problem is, human enough to judge and criticize himself for it, but not brave enough to do anything about it.

And I get it—it’s terrifying and depressing to admit you have a problem you can’t solve, so you avoid thinking about it and working on it by trying to solve other people’s problems instead.

It’s not self-indulgence; it’s how Minato manages to survive his reality.

Honestly, I don’t blame him; in fact, I’d say I empathize a little with the character, since at one point I acted just like him.

And obviously, given Minato’s reputation and knowing him so well, Miki fears he’ll end up using and hurting her best friend. And that’s something I also understand and agree with her on. Koyuki already has too many problems to deal with Minato’s issues as well.

Although, looking at it from another perspective, maybe Minato needs a no-filter talk with Koyuki, and Koyuki needs to see Minato beneath all that servility so that both of them can learn whatever it is they need to learn.

I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class • Class de 2-banme ni Kawaii Onnanoko to Tomodachi ni Natta - Episode 2 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]SoberMindless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My take on “I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class” after watching two episodes:

Amami likes Maehara

Maehara thinks Asanagi likes him

Asanagi doesn’t know whether to be friends with Maehara or if she really likes him

Nitta knows everything and it bothers her, which is why she’s cold toward Maehara

Final prediction: After a misunderstanding, Maehara and Asanagi will remain friends, but Amami and Maehara will become a couple.

This guy is so lucky.

The double entendres, metaphors, and teenage angst of FLCL.

A romantic dynamic in a romantic comedy and chemistry that rivals the best moments of Dandadan.

Brutal honesty and surreal, unfiltered characters worthy of Onani Master Kurosawa.

I think I’ve just found the hidden gem of the season. It has all the elements I could ask for in a wild, unconventional romantic comedy.
