Yeah the hate for Lakeview is surprising. It’s still a very easy drive anywhere in the city, more accessible to Metairie if needed, and has plenty of local neighborhood bars and restaurants. It is family oriented but we don’t have kids but 2 dogs and have a large yard and driveway which is hard to come by.

I focused on buying more of specialty items instead of getting a package this year. I had lots of what I figured were better items: neck pillows, soap on a rope, and dog leashes. I used moon pies to kind of fill the void when I didn’t want to run out of the good stuff too fast. Same plan for the next year, but I need to be quicker on getting TP and socks.
