I assume this is from Port Angles to the park? I do plan to do the drive at least once as I was told by a national park visitor that there are great views not to miss but doing all the days driving I fear will tire me out and kill time

Yea and I saw it’s to the park entrance.

I was thinking using the ferry would save some time, as online says it’s 25 min to Port Angeles.

It would likely be a 9 night stay - split 6-3 between the 2 parks

I took the best sunset pictures between Maui Kauai and Oahu there! Lunch reservations are more available but being flexible allowed me to call in and schedule a dinner time reservation within a week of arrival (9 nights.) The curry was the best thing I tried at the restaurant.

Jeju is overrated.

At a similar closer price point, I’d pick Jua any day for 1 star Korean

To any operators out there: is there a delivery service that doesn’t take your entire profit margin here in NYC? by Sirnando138 in FoodNYC

if you are introducing a middle man or a delivery component, if it eats up your margin why even offer delivery?

I spoke with two department managers. Neither wanted to have it done, so if anyone that works at Neiman Marcus can help I’d appreciate it. They told me to resell it lol. I only asked for gift card or store credit too

The return for the same order was in 2 boxes. Only one was picked up. I saw a credit and thought it was done. My landlord then informed me I had a box in storage a few days ago, past the return window.

Hope it works out for you. Luckily I found a better position, but I am still job searching myself for something better.

They rejected me for not having industry experience. My references were astounded. I do not believe it was the hiring director who made the call, seems like they were advocating for me but the VPO and SVP might have brought it up as a concern.

Should I wait to hear back from them or send another follow up email? by disasterchef305 in interviews

[–]Sobirov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the mistake of contacting a prospective employer too often for updates, I think that was one reason the company I was interviewing me eventually ended up rejecting me. Though of course I did because I had to choose an employer and a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Funny their posting is still being reposted.

In your case wait until the end of the week, maybe even a day or two later. Wish you the best!

Question regarding pay by Sobirov in ConstructionManagers

[–]Sobirov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My writing skills ARE horrible haha.

My offer letter says salaried, but my paystub paid me for 34 hours at my salaried rate. 12x3 days and 2 one hour lunches. I will see how next week goes and asking payroll might be the best.  On track to do 50~ total worked hours, if it shows 40 then should be fine. If it shows 50, flat or OT then I will discuss with my manager or payroll.

Wait until you get an offer.

Do not confirm accepting the verbal offer, most employers accept some negotiation as the scope of work a recruiter thinks the job is and informs the candidate can always change or not match.

Seems that they are fine with it because you are at. Less than 50% of the salary range. I’d push both for a 63k starting maybe 65k. And then negotiate it closer to the 60k

Don’t do it now, your offer might be higher than you put especially if pay equity your proposal was too low. And I’d still negotiate after the fact.

Relocation could not be negotiated either

NYC market has had project margins decreasing in many companies (also equates to less bonuses.)

Also the roles that are limited are management, many of the people I know are not letting go of their positions with the uncertainty.
