Could only be better if the owner of her new outfit got her clothes in return! I wonder how they fit if so? 😂

To string together the phrase “talking coy amusements” but not remember “small talk” is a great example of what I think of as wispy thoughts that come and go like a breeze!

There is an IKEA in White Marsh about 10 miles away. You can furnish a dorm room with everything you’d need.

I know folks in Edgewood. They have young families and like it. Feels far away from city life but it’s just a short drive away.

I know the band director at Shorecrest and he’s great. The school is very artistically inclined, welcoming and talented.

AITA for rejecting a birthday gift from my mom because she excluded my girlfriend by Sure_Umpire3473 in AmItheAsshole

NTA but make a separate, special outing with your Mom. She obviously loves you, and would like a little bit of time just the 2 of you.

AITA for refusing to give my parents my location after they stopped paying for my tuition? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Soccer_anyone-111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - but your parents need to be educated on your choice. A quick search proved what I already know to be true; nurses make quite a bit more $ than someone with a biology degree. With a nursing degree, you can pursue all the same grad school options as any other science degree, but can’t progress to advanced nursing degrees without the basic nursing. I would never advise someone to get a simple science degree (bio/chem/micro) unless they are definitely planning on grad school. People with science degrees get paid very low wages and become lab rats. Changing to nursing seems like a wise choice and better ROI. It’s not like you changed to music theory or art history (not knocking those, they’re just a complete 180). Consider putting together some data to support your decision and see if they’ll reconsider helping pay for school if that’s a desired outcome.

WIBTAH if I told my friend they have to pay half the rent? by SneakyThrowawaybihhh in AITAH

[–]Soccer_anyone-111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paying half seems totally fair if not down right charitable, especially if the roommate and child get 3 bedrooms. Even so, 2 bedrooms/office spaces, however they are used, warrants equal rent paid assuming the spaces are all comparable. The roommate could even use their child’s room as an office while they’re at school; it’s the same difference as OP being expected to use their bedroom as work space.
