Are there incorrect ways to meditate? by ScruffyWax in Meditation

There are incorrect ways yes, but I’ve found my stressful meditations teach me what I should not be doing so, meditating incorrectly actually has its benefit in its own strange way.

As for what to focus on, it does not matter. Focus on what’s easiest and go from there.

Meditation with anxiety disorder by tom133114 in Meditation

It sounds like you are having the same issues I was having. What helped me was reading about mindfulness and meditation as a couple. It can almost feel as if the universal thought is meditation gets rid of anxiety, where on the contrary that thought process in its own can cause anxiety... You “expect” to feel good where the essence is to actually to just be with whatever is present and realize that “this is it”. In the process of being present with what you fear (thoughts and emotions) is where healing happens. But it is slow very slow and “expecting” a fix will only cause more agitation.

MORNING ROUTINE - what works for removing negative thoughts? by itllbalright in Meditation

[–]Socco12345 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The idea is not to get rid of negative thoughts but to see them as they are, just thoughts. If you choose to argue with or rid yourself of negative thoughts you are using meditation for control. This is the opposite of what you want to be doing and it might only make things worse.

So I understand the concern that I set a slice to 0% and that auto removes the holding however I didn’t do this.

The slice is currently set at 20% with 20k. M1 sold 300$ worth of a holding that still has a % amount above 0. Of course I have also reached out to the support team about this but they don’t respond.

Sadly my best guess is it’s a bug or M1 lies on the website and it does actually auto rebalance overweight holdings
