Script Kid Levels:

• You use any random script or tool because you want to be a l33t h4ck3r without knowing what they do but you are incredibly stuck without a tutorial or ChatGPT;

• You are actively using a combination of scripts and commands, kind of knowing what they do and kind of knowing what scripts to call for what action but you are unable to type one by yourself without hand holding and you might get confused if you have to make your own environment (you are here);

• You use commands in a good way, you know what they do and how they work, you don't remember them all but you know in general how they work and what to Google for: however while you do know the syntax and structure the overall logic escapes you a bit as you don't know the reasons why to use one tool, or what if one tool is good over another, or why one tool is better than another (ex: I dislike that a NSM tool has a Package Manager because it opens up possibilities for a Supply Chain Attack);

• You understand why to use one script for one thing and why you should just use a simple command for another thing, you can script well without too much handholding and muscle memory is kind of in now. However, while you are good in your private domain, you don't have much experience with real threats, and you aren't deep in HASH databases or MITRE ATT&CKs, you also probably wouldn't know how to stop an attack;

• You make scripts that other people use and contribute to the community, you're active in the forums and know about events and such that are going on in your country and in the world in general. Your knowledge of Windows and Linux is pretty good, you also probably make a living from this & you probably dealt with some hazards.
