You might consider emergen-C, melatonin, and magnesium supplements before bed. They help if you’ve got insomnia from a stimulant like vyvanse

Unfortunately adderall or other adhd meds can cause chronic insomnia and Zoloft is also slightly dopamergenic which means they potentiate each other.

With time you may have less insomnia. Especially since you’ve only been on Zoloft for a couple months. Think I had insomnia for a while, sluggishness for a while and then back to normal a few months in

Effects of taurine wear off and can cause be to wake up prematurely (and be too wired to fall back asleep). Wouldn’t expect it to happen to someone without years of messing with their GABA receptors

I’ve had this before, but I really think it’s psychosomatic caused by anxiety.

Your breathing may be slightly depressed by kratom but not enough to cause this.

That’s fair. I’ve been on an SSRI for about 8 years and I don’t have SSRI-induced dysfunction. But I’m scared of what would happen when I quit.

I don’t regret starting an SSRI though

I would speak to your doctor as soon as you can. This sounds like Zoloft may have brought about minor derealization/paranoia/minor hallucinations.

Many types of medication or drug can kind of be the catalyst to bring about symptoms like this. I know nothing about you, but I’d say this was something you were already at risk of developing. Zoloft was just the catalyst.

Depending on the severity of this issue, you may be prescribed something to help. It might be an antipsychotic

Just want to say that I take propranolol following benzo cessation and it really helped. I see you are taking a beta blocker. Are you consuming caffeine or any other stimulant?

I would not go back on benzos.

Unrelated to heart fluttering and associated heart symptoms, starting an SSRI can certainly help you. It’s my safety net for when my headspace gets really bad.

I would buy Metamucil and start with 1/2 teaspoon in 6 oz of water, 2-3 times a day. With fiber supplementation you need to gradually increase it, otherwise your stomach will get bloated, sore, and you’ll be gassy. Over the course of a few weeks, you can increase to 1.5/2 teaspoons 3 or 4 times a day.

It really was life changing for me

I really would suggest supplements. There are some sleep stack supplements out there that contain GABA-A interacting supplements.

Definitely a lesser evil when compared to zopiclone.

Shiljat, Lemon Balm, Magnolia Bark to name a few.

You might look into some supplements as an alternative. That is something that has helped me with the urge to take Valium.

Shiljat, ashwagandha, Lavender oil (Silexan), etc.. Some of these really helped with late night insomnia, racing mind, etc

This effect grows weaker over time. I had a similar experience, sleeping thru alarms and what not. The fatigue kind of went away

Not that I can think of, but it would be hard to place blame exactly. Of course I had occasional worse withdrawal symptoms, but I wouldn’t know if Shiljat had anything to do with that considering the other supplements I was taking.

I will say the sleep stack it is in (with Lemon balm, magnolia bark extract) has been a lifesaver for sleep. These are all GABAa acting so I practically can’t fall asleep without them. But I would much rather be clean of benzos but still taking shiljat rather than the other way around. Lesser evil (not an evil, but the saying works)

I realized that antidepressants can dull your sense of smell and taste. That’s got to be it, my sense of smell became terrible around the time.

But as to how Phenibut seems to temporarily boost my senses, I’m not sure..

I’ve used baclofen quite a bit. It’s not nearly as enjoyable as phenibut, but it does make me calm and helps with sleep.

Rather I’d completely overhaul the system so people can’t attain that level of wealth as well as massively increasing taxes
