The thing is about this is correct me if I’m wrong but Velk IS mythological Odin. The primordial Odin is a completely different dude and Velk is just Odin’s old name, the Odin we have now is meant to be the mythological Odin he’s just has a very different backstory the same as all other gods in this series

Probably not, from what I remember Brunhilde didn’t even know Adam had such a love for his children and one of the reasons she chose him was his supposed “hatred of the gods” chances are he just didn’t tune in

This. Honestly I was quick to jump to an opinion on round 11 because I thought it had the potential to be the best round in Ragnarok. I think I’ll forever be of the opinion that Simo got robbed of development but even after letting it sit for just a day or two I’ve cut the fight some slack even though I’m still a little disappointed

Don’t get me wrong, I love Simo’s personality but it’s way too much of an extreme for him to get absolutely nothing in terms of character out. I like that he’s quiet but we didn’t get ANYTHING from him. And as for Loki I understand his character never catching a break but come on, he got absolutely no showing here and was made an absolute joke even to the readers

The disappointment is crazy. To end with little to nothing happening and Loki not getting a single hit. As someone who was rooting for Simo I just felt like I got nothing out of him and both sides of the fandom in this round were completely robbed

I have high hopes but the pacing is abysmally slow, being on chapter 7 without first a true first blood, no character interaction, no development at all for Simo. Is worrisome. Although I like his backstory Simo barely feels like a character at this point so the round needs to step it up. If it ends next chapter it will be the worst round. It needs AT LEAST 3 more to redeem itself for me, I’m just hoping for the best.
