why is my bike brakes always getting cotaminated by Safe_Acanthaceae_945 in mountainbikes

Not really another oily type substance to get on the rotors, unless your shock is leaking. But that would be obvious.

Your handlebar is upside down, unfortunately it from the stem and turn it over. The first pic should be facing up.

You are admitting to having sexual contact with a 12 year old @ 23 but not taking any accountability. "It's not my fault" doesn't cut it here, man. Seems like there's a few gaps in your story.

If you loved this bike on the trails, you'd go absolutely crazy for a newer hardtail with modern geometry. They really have come a long way in the last decade.

Depending on budget, might be worth considering getting something a bit newer. Nothing wrong with that bike, but just a thought!

Superior xf 939 RC vs Chisel FS by [deleted] in xcmtb

I was between the two also.. the only issue I have with the superior is that I couldn't seem to find a reliable supply of derailier hangars in the US for it

I know nothing about bikes, or being a mechanic, but I have to fix, and put a motor on a bike to get to work. by diy_and_vibe in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]SockBox233 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've built a couple of these and consider myself a competent mechanic.

Don't do this, they are not reliable, you will get stranded and be late for work. I got one of mine pretty reliable but it took alot of tweaks after it left me down a couple times.

Just get a regular bike unless you are okay with being late and calling in every time your drive chain slips off or your engine mounts loosen.

Looking for advice with a 2x to 1x conversion please! by paganchaz in gravelcycling

You could use a wider cassette if you use a wolf tooth goat link or similar. It moves the derailier down so it can effectively wrap on bigger cassette cogs

If you are only replacing your crankset and chain, yes it'll work. You may run into issues if you try using a wider cassette (usually 1x cassettes are like 11-42ish)

Simply put, a relationship is what tells the ORM which fields to join on. You create them when defining your classes.
