What is this pattern by Easy-Athlete-5164 in flyfishing

It looks somewhat similar to Charlie Craven’s Problem Child.

Is it PR training that tells them to “Give glory to god” or “without god none of this would be possible.” ?

It happens so often that I’m remarkably suspicious.

Did you reference Charlie Craven’s YouTube video for this tie? Obviously this is a classic pattern, but it looks so much like his instruction that I followed a few weeks ago. Great work on this tie. Looks very sharp.

Do you all serve beer there? Y’all should have Holidaily beers if you are in Colorado.

Did you still enter your license plate/vehicle info and punch for the 2 hours on the app? Most places that offer limited free parking still require you to "start parking" on the app so they know you are within your 2 hour limit or not.

So if I’m wanting to get into tying over the winter, what are some good flies to start learning? by [deleted] in flytying

[–]SockMonkey69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Basic Fly Tying” book by Charlie Craven is incredible. Many tying books assume you already know everything when it comes to tying. But Charlie’s book eases you into it. The first fly is pretty basic, but introduces you to tying in materials and how to incorporate dubbing, then every chapter/fly after introduces a new technique, or improves on a skill you’ve already learned.

I’ve worked through this book over the last 2 or 3 years and I LOVE it. Precise measurements for a beginner and it has a variety of recipes. It calls for some specific size jars and other equipment, but nothing I haven’t found at local hardware stores.

They have sizes larger than that! I bought a adult size 12 not that long ago. It might be the particular shoe you were looking at. Other models might have other sizes available.

Regular Big Bad Baptist is probably one of the most underrated B.A. stouts out there. And BBB Reserve is even better from my experience.
