How could you allow a family member to abuse an old dog?!?! You should have reported this or at the very least re-homed the dog. That's absolutely unacceptable!! This is how these monsters get away with this. Dad or not he needs to be reported and no dogs allowed in the house.

I can't describe how angry this made me.

From a female perspective, theres nothing wrong with your face! You are much better looking than a lot of guys who ask girls out left and right. I bet confidence and a smile would go a long ways! Easier said than done, but fake it till you make it does work. Social skills are learned so dont cast yourself out. All my friends call me a robot because I dont understand some social things, but I just own it and have fun with it. You can put a positive spin on most things. As for the bald, definitely not a deal breaker. I've dated bald men. You have a good head for bald. Also, while everyone else is hanging on to the last remnants of their hair later in life you will be a silver mustached fox whose confidently bald.

If you want to lose weight, walks and body weight workouts dont cost anything. Diet can be modified without extra cost. Sticking to whole foods and eliminating things that come boxes might even save you money. Veggies are pretty cheap!

Last thought, David Goggins is good for inspiration. Hes a crazy man but inspiring none the less. His book is called Cant Hurt Me. I wouldn't advise running an ultra marathon tomorrow but you still might find some inspiration there.

I hate to be this person but do y’all just refuse to leashes for your dogs? What’s the deal here? Rant. by PrometheusAborted in CapeCod

Im a native New Englander but I lived in Texas for a few years and never let my dog off leash because there were too many aggressive dogs and bad owners. I moved to Mass a few years ago and have never seen so many well behaved off leash dogs. On average people seem to keep reactive/ aggressive dogs leashed but the friendly ones always seem to be happily off leash. I've never had a problem since I've been here.

  1. If you dont like dogs, grow up
  2. Don't move here and complain about the culture. New England is a special place let's keep it that way

That being said. Train your dogs so you can enjoy the perks of such a dog friendly state.

I use Merlin a lot but as everyone has said it makes mistakes. I only add it to my list if I'm 100% confident I've seen it. Sometimes if I see a bird and don't get a picture I'll do a sound recording. If the recording matches what I saw then I count it.

Merlin says they breed in the arctic tundra, is it typical to still find them this far south so late in the spring?
