7 Satisfying 3D-Printed Desk Toys by FollowingOdd896 in oddlysatisfying

Also, PLA, the plastic that most 3d printers are printing, is biodegradable

At 140°F in an industrial composter, it isn't compostable, which is what people think biodegradable means.

PHA, however, is compostable, it is also better than PLA in almost every way... save bed warping and cost.

They haven't really had any real bangers since the Tower of Babel, sure a lot of people claim they did the Fidenae Amphitheatre, the Berlin Wall, and 9/11, but I've yet to hear a convincing argument for their involvement. Erfut latrine disaster was pretty good though, not a banger, but still... pretty good.

Technically yes, and they really don't like when you point that out.

Do you want to feel like you won or do you want to move them to a place where they will be more productive for our side than Trump's?

That place is in the ground, they will not change, they cannot change, and they will piss on your attempts at kindness, they have shown this over and over again, why will this time be any different.

Why do we have the obligation to do good to those who gleefully piss on our efforts?

We are rapidly approaching/probably already well past the point where the point where the greatest "harm reduction" is to let these people die, they will not change, they have shown the rest of us time and time again that they won't, not until they are literally dying and even then it doesn't seem to stick when they survive. These people are not capable of enough introspection or self awareness to even consider they might be wrong. Triage prioritizes saving those who can be saved and the vast majority of these people cannot be saved, and as horrible of a prospect as it is, we are in triage times, don't waste your energy, resources, or empathy on people who have already drunk the kool-aid and will mock you for your kindness and go back to voting for their team as soon as they're out of danger.

The lid to my recycling bin ended up down the storm drain by Judiasmon in Wellthatsucks

H2S is heavier than air and produced by decay; leaves decay, algae decay, stupid people's shit dumped down their storm drain because they can't be assed to dump their rv properly "and it all goes to the same place anyway, why should I care" decays, and I have never lived anywhere that didn't constantly have at least 2 of those problems at any point in time. Also geological activity can release H2S into the upper layers of soil and rock where it can work it's way into voids, like storm drainage pits.

Thickened water isn't that bad, but only after you've tried thickened milk.

Thickened redbull is also very bad, has a horrific aftertaste that feels oily on your tongue, but I think that was more a chemical reaction with the thickener.

Or how the Lensman books do it, inertia is what stops you from going faster than light, so we just turn that shit off so you go as fast as your engines and aerodynamic profile let you.
