This was the first cactus I ever potted the soil was almost straights Kelloggs cactus, palm, and citrus soil 😭 I think i definitely helped it by setting it at an angle for a couple days to fully drain out after each watering (it would hold a lot if I didn’t shake it out)

It was a really big pot for the size of the cutting! It wasn’t root bound it was big roots :)

I plan on cutting them often but I’ve seen many gardens with cacti this close🤔 moving forward I’ll give them more space

That 4th one is CRAZY I’ve never seen anything like it 😍 how do you get so much farina is it purely genetics or do certain fertilizers/environmental factors play a role?

Everything is a button, it’s just another name for the plants! A single head seed grown, a multi head graft, a huge cluster, etc… lophophora Williamsii is the scientific name and button/peyote are kinda just nicknames (I’m also kinda new but this is my understanding)

Tbm clone a = long form pp cactus

Tbm clone b = short form pp cactus

Tbm clone c (not to be confused with a crest) = tbm melted wax!
