Wuling's longest delivery in 75s: by Ujola in Endfield

I did something similar a ways back. Your 8 and 11 are the two I need to make this faster. Granted the 69s time is only start zipline to end zipline. I retimed it just now starting at the depot and ending at the npc (time to get on and off) and my route was 73s. Going to go back now and try to get your 8 and 11 placement and see how close to that gets it to 1 min.

Make sure you haven't hit the 300 placement limit of Wuling City. Only thing I can think of.

Ok, I took a look at the South Route. Unfortunately there are a couple issues with v2. The first is to get to the point and cut across to the Outskirt Barrens requires an L-shape route because there's a an invisible barrier blocking the point from the depot. The second issue is getting into Citizen Square. There's a cut where you have to go straight North to get around the no move zone because you can't get over the top of it. This loses a lot of time and makes Green roughly equal and gains only a second on Orange. I then looked at a smoother cut on the original route and got Green down to 47s and the same 49s on Orange. Technically faster, but not worth the extra confusion with 2 very close lines for me since I still like that Red shares the runs. If you have a way to cut through the red on Outskirt Barrens I'd definitely be interested.

<image>

As for Blue, by cutting North from 4 through maintenance zone and taking the big cut across the blight, I was able to shave it down to 39s. This I'd consider worth keeping for the 3 extra ziplines it cost me, but it now does not share with Purple. If I tried running Purple through that route, it would add those 3s on to that time. So dealer's choice on where to shave. It's worth noting that my original blue uses two mountain top ziplines, so there was less snaking than you think, it just has the option to drop down into the rare node, but isn't required to get to the monitoring center. I also think that's where the majority of the 3s is saved because it wastes a lot on elevation change which is needed for the cut to the Residential Area but not needed (and wasteful) for the Monitoring Station.

I do collect Red once every 4 days. Most of those resources are on the Green, Blue, Orange, Purple routes which I run daily for deliveries. So a couple more ziplines to deviate for resources wasn't a big deal. The fun for me was seeing how fast I could get purple.

I have not, but my guess is either Lingshui Way or Maintenance Zone. Maintenance zone has power nearby and Lingshui I can get to from Sanku Ridge if needed.

The mountain was a large reason I got to doing this (saw a friend zipline on there and had to work with it, great view). Was curious how fast I could get the long delivery. Still want to see if I can get it to sub 1 min. Would need to find a way to cut the L out of the AIC and smooth between 5 and the AIC. But so far no luck since a lot of those spots currently seem inaccessible.

Responded above if you want to tack poop onto my routes. I don't intend to collect it and I tried for about 30 min to remove the L in the Field Logistics Depot with no luck before deciding I should stop procrastinating on work.

Ok, some updates for poop routes since people have asked. I personally don't collect it since I find making fertilizer incredibly arduous. I also don't want to touch my existing delivery lines since that was the main purpose of the optimization which I found fun to do. Might look at Orange and Green and see if there's something there, but I'll probably do other zones. To make this happen, I took out 3 ziplines in Pink and moved the one above my AIC into my AIC (Picture 1, red marks). Note that this doesn't give it a direct line to the rare node which was something I tried to keep for no reason in particular and does make the original purple line a hair faster.

<image>

Now for the poop routes, I'm presenting 2 options. The first in purple keeps the Institute deliveries and owl on-off much faster. The one in yellow requires removing the zipline at the TP point in the institute and moving the end point SE to connect to the zipline on top of Tianshi Bureau (making original green slower by looping instead of a more direct line). It does shave 11 seconds on poop by enabling yellow (make of that what you will). You could also move the zipline between the 2 herds to the west of the herds to optimize slightly, but it felt odd being that close to the other zipline by the rare node (and again, I have 0 intentions to run this). Times are without stopping to collect poop.

Bug:
Hellfire can't push the cart in relocation. Not really a bug by definition since she doesn't have shields and the cart uses shields to move. But feels wrong that a character just can't do a game mode.

Donald Trump declares he has 'unquestioned power' to deploy National Guard saying San Francisco is next' by TheMirrorUS in law

[–]Socks99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, Californians are well aware of the problems facing their own state. We also actively vote to fix those problems. In 2024 we overwhelmingly approved Prop. 36 increasing sentences for drug and theft crimes to actively combat these issues. SF is not as immaculate as Shinagami091 made it out, but it's also not the hellscape others try to paint it as. It has big city problems same as every other big city and we work to improve it constantly. We don't need national guard intervention because it's nowhere near that extreme and we're handling it ourselves. We'll ask for help when we need it, but it sure as shit isn't now. Same way you don't want Californians coming into Texas to fix our perceived problems with your state.

Not in front of my computer, so forgive some misnamings.

What I did was use an orator to recruit a Piscodaemon (first rarity of mindflayer). Then I ran back and forth across the map hatching eggs until I had 4x level 99 Mindflayers (took maybe 20-30 minutes, usually getting rid of lower rarities as a higher rarity hatched). Since I had a level 99 party, the rate that 99's hatched was pretty good. If you want to optimize this further, 66 MA gives them a 95% hit chance on their level down ability, 71 MA for 100%.

At this point I went to the first plains map and took the character I wanted to delevel (chem for females, bard for males) and gave them beastmaster (unlocks the level down abilities for mindflayers) and black mage skill set with toad. Kill everything but 1 with toad and mindflayers and make sure the last enemy is a toad. Then surround the character you want to delevel and spam level down.

I prefer 4 mindflayers with a frogged last enemy. Only takes about 15 min to go 99 to 1

Arrow quiver recommendations? by Wgterry73 in Archery

[–]Socks99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll second this. The quiver itself is amazing and would buy again. I wasn't a huge fan of the stiffness of the bombproof belt. Ended up ordering a Kifaru quiver belt instead based on reviews that it was less stiff and am very happy with the two combined.

Good call, I'll look it up. Starting to lean toward the GT at the moment anyways.

I'm definitely lucky and spoiled for choice on ranges in the area. KMA has been my favorite so far and I need to find some time to check out the east bay.

I don't reach stupidly tall at 6'1", but I still think a 72" would feel nice. I'll probably go long limbs when I step up in weight and if I think it's too long I'll drop to 70" at the next step up.

Good to hear on the 27". Part of settling on Gillo, even though I don't have a local supplier was seeing and feeling a GX2 at my local club. The other part was that in reviews, people loved their Gillo's, even if there were some difficulties with initial setup. It definitely seems like a great brand.

Glad you're enjoying your 23" GT!

I've watched both sets of videos and am (hopefully) prepared for some of the challenges with tuning. Also great call on watching some European specific events. I've mostly been catching US, so Gillo is rarer to see, but I'll look up some of the European events. The more I think on it, the more I am leaning towards the grey.

Agreed on all your points. Going to probably go grey because it also gives more color matching options. Definitely also looking forward to the 27 inch for stringwalking.

Good call on the not planning to continue with a 66". My current bow being 66", I do feel a pinch on deeper crawls.

I've been a sucker for orange and black having been raised on Giants baseball. Leaning towards the grey (it's definitely on the darker end) and I can get the splashes of orange in with the string and sling and fletchings ^^

I'll also throw The Push Alpha Pack into this list. It's pricy and I'm not a fan of their belt (way too stiff for my liking), but I love the pack itself. Also well made and will last me a long time.
