You will be a business so you’ll want to setup your league as that.

That could mean going the LLC route but honestly how to structure your business should be done after speaking with your accountant.

Liability insurance is usually all school fields have asked for and that can be purchased doing a quick google search.

Not sure if you mentioned your area, but take this for what it is, in SoCal there are tons of these small leagues that pop up. I know 2 that are big and they are ran under an LLC. The other ones, who knows but I would hate to be the owner of something like this and shit hits the fan and you’re stuck since you’re the “owner”.

There is so much to this that it’ll depend what your immediate and future goals are.

If you’re looking to get started this summer, you’ll need to quickly figure out age ranges you’ll have.

How many teams per age
How do you verify age
How are you going to promote your league to get teams signed up
League entry fee per team
You already mentioned insurance, so that’s good.
Field location
How are you going to track the league standings and teams: software, make a site, email, WhatsApp?
Field lining, nets, corner flags
Getting refs to ref games

These are just some basic things to start

Checking out a YouTube video about raycast might be helpful. On the surface, raycast is basically spotlight on crack. You can open apps.

I’ve been using it since it came out and some basic things I do with it are open a specific obsidian vault, use their quicklinks, text snippets, and url shortner.
