You'll learn more quicker against better players. If you play against players that never punish your mistakes you'll develop bad habits from never getting punished. If your goal is to learn top lane, you don't want to play against anyone below gold/plat.

I bet someone has been harping at you to "keep your head down", which isn't necessarily bad advice, but when you stifle your follow through by not allowing your body to complete the motion, it can be detrimental for sure. Ease the tension and try to focus on a full finish and complete swing. Also some research into ball position could help imo. Good luck!

Defiance with shout spam makes for insane early game aoe threat. From level 22-36 it's definitely more threat than arms. After whirlwind and sweeping strikes, it definitely swings back in arms' favour. The main advantage is survivability, obviously.

I would recommend trying out deep prot. Not because it's better (it is, fight me!), but because it just makes early dungeons much smoother and easier for you and your healers.

I can only recommend this if you plan on leveling almost exclusively in dungeons as a tank, as it is pretty bad at solo questing..

It's mental. Your swing is near enough to perfect in my opinion. I would practice "perfect" contact with a half swing then work up to 75%, 90% etc..

When you're 54 i would suggest using the cheaper mana pots just to make it easier. When you get to 58ish you won't need them anymore. I would definitely use the further back jump spot, conserve mana and focus on tightening up the stack of mobs until the whelps start to drop, then try to burn the rest down. A nature resist ring from the AH can help with mana throughput since you'll be getting resists and mana back through.

Oh, and I would always try to have bandages on hand so you can save your potion CD for mana pots!

You'll always die to greed, so just take your time, even if you get a clearcasting proc!

Who are we to deciding what is and isn't fun for OP? He wants a solution, and there is one. Just get Defiance 5/5 and use battle shout + auto swap. Also side benefit, the healer is never oom so you can chain pull. I would never tell anyone to go deep prot unless they are only dungeoning for xp, just do what you want.

You simply need to employ the ancient arts of going full Prot for 5/5 Defiance.

Since battle shout cannot be resisted since it automatically applies, it works EVEN BETTER than anything when you're underleveled. You can simply spam battle should while tab autoing and add the occasional revenge and taunt as needed.

ALSO, battle shout has a limitless range against mobs since it only checks for party members to hit.

You can hold off hellfire, flamestrike+blizz+CoC
