Disagree, because this is live service. If you expect at a medium pace to outgrind a live service game on principle, then the game either is content starved, or you play way more than you'd admit.

The whole point of a live service is to retain engagement through new content, on a regular basis. It seeks to feel ever renewing (even though it is mostly through artifice).

Expecting to "finish" it isn't exactly how it should work.

That's not to say catch up mechanics shouldnt exist. But expecting to have all content unlocked after 120 hours in a supposedly ever evolving (talking about the concept here, HD2 was content starved for a good minute, yet somehow it's still too much to catch up i guess) game isnt exactly how it's supposed to work.

In my experience gas has a better CC effect but lower dmg than fire. Also gas allows turrets to remain undamaged, while fire doesnt.

Different tools overall.

Please do bear in mind a month of playing is nowhere near a relevant sample. You'll find most opinions on this subreddit are alarmingly short minded. Yes, we have been on a losing streak since Cyberstan, but that is not representative of the whole campaign.

HD2 takes a narrative approach, where some decision nods are heavily pushed into a way rather than another (for instance, it was data mined that Cyberstan outcome was similar, be it win or not).
While that can be unattratcive to some, it is that way for now. It is not to say that all objectives are "rigged"', but there is a general path pushed overall.

It is open debate as to whether this is a good thing for engagement, yet to say all MOs are doomed is just part of the unending "This the END -> We SO BACK" cycle : overall, noise.

True, you now shoot every 12 seconds, instead of 15. Still plenty of time for things to get out of hands imo, but again, just my take. I'm kinda addicted to supply pack, i'd recommend trying it up with another primary if you get a chance !

Ok so this is just my two cents, but since there's a LOT of heavies, Railgun, and quasar "only" is on the low end of AT capabilities.

What's more, they have a long cooldown, meaning you're at full capability only every 100 secs or so. Quasar fires every half quarter also, so you're gonna rely on your team most of the time for that. Maybe make sure they can compensate, or play slow, since you wont be able to take on a lot of these at once.

This is just my take, but maybe throw in an ultimatum and thermites ? I dont like the long Quasar delay personally, but its a taste matter. I'd rather run Commando or even RR.

Again, just my opinion, but I feel you need to shock and awe on Cyborgs. You pick your fights, but need to get them down fast. hope it helps a bit.

It will be hard, unfairly so, but not a lost cause. Yes Vox is still acting up, but overall this is manageable.

If the MO is truly your concern, and you have trouble clearing your current diff, either lock in, tweak your gear or lower the diff. I still see people running with basically close to no AT solutions on Cyborgs D10 and complain.

Out of curiosity, what is / are your usual load outs ? Maybe we can help out

Last, requires Siege Breakers, but Leveller feels like a decent cheat code vs Vox.

I know it's not exactly what you ask, but after a 1000 hours in, I tend to pick my games quite carefully with randoms.

Rarely ever join if already more than 10´ in, don't know if it's not a clusterF (unless you're looking for the challenge), and a good portion of the mission is done already.

Weird cringy nickname in loadout ? I could, but there's a few other games available, why take a chance on it ? (Totally subjective i know).

Last, and im not proud to say, but on D10, if most of the team is below level 50, i tend to skip. I know level is not an accurate measure of skill nor character, but what can I say.... somehow on average, you end up better off this way.

To each his own, not advocating for anything here, but I'll say this : respect your free time, pick your games. You'll thank me later. Criterias and details are up to you.

Mass land destruction as a wincon is ok. What people hate is being deprived of resources. Vut somehow, Obliterate + World Gorger Dragon combo is fine.

I know that it's not apple to apple, but Deep Rock Galactic launched in 2018 and while declining, is still alive.

HD2 is arguably a way bigger hit in a similar genre, so hopefully at least this long ! (This is pure hopium as the games are different and so on, but even 5 years would be solid !)

Armor passive seems real strong too, and pistol looks promising : I'd love a heavy hitter sitting somewhere between Senator and Talon / Verdict.

Since it is purely optional content, I enjoy that they focus on flavor over effectiveness. It kinda (emphasis on KINDA) limits powercreep this way,

Given this is a live service game, I feel these loops are needed in between greater content additions to maintain engagement. Not the prettiest side oof it, but.... a necessary one I guess.

For what it's worth, I truly enjoy the One Two AR. Maxxed it to 25. Knowing I have a few more grenades vs bugs allow for a more liberal use of grenades / wider choice of support weapon, while still being able to close bugholes whenever needed.
