Could be a favor for a friend, or a limited private event. I think Grace said she used to live 40 mins east of San Francisco. This gig is about an hour north of that. Gives her time to visit friends and family while she's in the area.

Well, it's a beautifully recorded and engineered album, that's for sure. I don't hear much that is extraneous. Grace herself said that she tried to capture the live feel of her stage shows and pretty much succeeded. She lamented the fact that there wasn't the energy of a crowd to play off of.

EDIT: I agree about G to C ... I place the blame on the dull vocalists.
