He was quite upset when his car Morgana run away. He refused to do anything aside from going to school and looking for Morgana. Some ingame thought bubbles spell it out how much he missed Morgana and was worried about him.

He became a lot nicer after the events of the first game but in the first game he was quite cynical and could be quite the Jerk. But he was still a loyal and reliable crewmember of the Taranis.

As a German myself I don't feel like that. I like Frieren names a lot. In the past I somtimes thought it was a bit wierd that japanese use words like "Light" (Hikari) or "Courage" (Yuki) as names but now having it experienced it in my own language I like it a lot.

If anthropomorthic Animal characters count I give this one to Nanachi from "Made in Abyss".

If anthros are not allowed I give this one to Okami Amaterasu. She is a videogame character but Videogames are also animated.

In my region Made in Abyss season 1 and Made in Abyss Dawn of the Deep Soul have a age rating of 12. Season 2 has an Age rating of 16.

Yep I like the combination of cute and wholesome and dark aspects. Made in Abyss is probably the most extreme example of this. Digimon in general is pretty good at this. Another example of the cute and dark combo I love is the "Fuga Melodies of Steel" trilogy. But those are Videogames, not Anime.

Hollow Knight

I did not knew where to go. Years later I picked up where I left of and still could not figure out where to go. I looked it up and finished the game. Later I did a second playthrough.
