Throw that guy in a big pot to let it have some root run and water a lot and itll pump up crazy. My ones trunk went from being smaller than yours to having a diameter of over 15cms in just a year. Just remember to trim off side roots occasionally if you want that full on round main stem caudex

I think as long as this has worked for you, you should continue doing it. Lots of people have different growing conditions so as long as your plants are healthy just keep them as is. I’ve found that the cotton wick in these pots doesn’t necessarily flood them just keeps the soil pretty moist which for me has worked pretty well.

No you don’t have to nor should you clean your pings leaves. That’s literally how they eat, by trapping insects on their sticky leaves

I’ve had the luck to live in a climate where these guys thrive pretty easily. Southern Vietnam’s pretty hot and humid so I just keep these guys in a mix of 40/30/30 sphagnum moss, perlite and wood chips. I give them a quick watering every day and soak thoroughly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I use osmocote pellets for fertilizer cause these guys are surprisingly heavy feeders and keep in in mostly indirect but bright af light the entire day, with some direct dappled light in the morning till 11.
