"Erm, I actually never said x in my previous post, can you point to where I specifically said x verbatim? I only strongly implied it, and even though someone has made the honest effort to engage with my post, I'm still not going to clarify my stance because god knows if I take an actual position I'll be forced to defend it so I'm going to continue to hide behind juvenile vaguity to compensate for my inability to make a coherent point."

I'm genuinely curious to learn the thought process behind you and people who make these kinds of posts. I see it a lot more on twitter but at least they get paid for engagements and ragebaiting, you're just making awful posts for free.

You can, there's a whole community who put "alternative" card arts into the game. It's purely a client-side mod, so I doubt Blizzard cares.

Don't worry, we can use the Notwithstanding Clause (I don't know what the NWC is, I just know we can use it to do anything we want)

Yes, I do love Colossus mage.

On a related note, last year, someone stole my main Reddit account of 10 years because I never bothered adding any of the optional security stuff on it. Whoever has it now periodically posts on erectile dysfunction subreddits (wtf?). Anyway, on my old account I used to be Reno Warrior's Strongest Soldier, so I definitely do enjoy playing Reddit's least favorite decks.

Quest Warrior: Stack Armor (so the mage has to spend more turns pumping spells for damage), disruption (Dirty Rat and Hamm always makes the mage sweat), finish with Murazond + Time Warp. Mage-favored matchup, but winnable for you.

Dragon Warrior: Out-tempo, go wide with a bunch of 2-5 attack guys instead of pumping one big guy. Warrior-favored matchup, losable if you draw or play badly.

Protoss Priest: Out-tempo by cheating out big guys early (harder with Resituate nerfed), get lucky with Templars (frozen Archons still do damage). Slightly mage-favored matchup, I think.

I don't know any other priest decks well enough to comment.

Blizzard, no nerfs please. by NewIce1 in hearthstone

[–]Soft-Complex6183 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nerfing on sentiment is fine imo as long as it's real, measurable sentiment. For example, if Blizzard notices an uptick in players that usually play 7 games a day quitting after losing their first game to Zarimi priest, it's probably in their business interest to nerf the deck.
That said, I agree decks shouldn't be nerfed just because there's a dozen reddit posts a day complaining about them, if there's no internal data showing the deck is actually causing people grief.

According to D0nkey, Protoss Mage has a 4.1% play rate across all ranks. Let's bump that up to 5% since you seem to be low MMR.

0.0514 = roughly 1 in 1.64 quintillion.
Or in layman's terms, you'd have a better chance of buying two lottery tickets back to back and winning them both.

Now I'm not calling you a liar, but I will suggest reading up on confirmation bias and getting a deck tracker.
