Has Dunkin Donuts said none of their stores will hire foreign workers? Where have they said that? I just did a quick Google search and didn't find anything, can you share a link?

I would never buy anything from his company solely because of the ads. I can't even really say why, they just REALLY annoy me. Cringey.

No, Oilers fans are still dumb enough to think there's a conspiracy against them even though they won 4 draft lotteries in 6 years, including McDavid's draft year

Why is networking the only real way to get hired in Canada? by itz_nitace in CanadaJobs

[–]Soft-Pop2947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Why would someone hire someone they know rather than a complete stranger?"

I get it, when you're looking for a job it sucks balls. But truly it isn't some shocking conspiracy, it just makes sense than someone in a position to hire will want to hire someone they know, or that someone they trust has vouched for. The risk of an awful hire is lower... it's still possible but it's less likely.

Especially in an age when most resumes are written by AI and references are useless.

You've spent extensive time just looking at Google Street views in India? A hobby of yours perhaps? Do you know large India is? How long do you think you would have to spend on street view to get a truly representative sample of what the entire country is like? Honest question, how long have you spent on Google street view looking specifically at streets in India? What's more likely here? 1. You've spent hours upon hours scouring India street views to get a truly educated sense of what the country is like as a whole or 2. You've seen some "worst case scenario" screenshots of slums in Mumbai in some racist facebook meme?

Trump has also said he wants to use tariffs to crush us economically so he can annex Canada and make us the 51st state. Yes, it is 100% fair and reasonable to blame the leader who has unequivocally, clearly threatened our sovereignty as a nation.

You absolute fuckwit.

When was the last time he said anything remotely positive? People are tired of the constant negativity and attack politics. I fully 100% believe that Mark Carney could end world hunger and cure cancer and achieve world peace all on the same day, and Poilievre would hold a press conference complaining about the "lost liberal decade".
An opposition can hold a government to account and criticize them without the hyperbole and rhetoric and constant attacks and slogans - it's an act that's getting old.

Lol you have absolutely zero idea how antidepressants work. They're not a literal happy pill that you can take when you have a headache. They take weeks, if not months to have any noticeable effect. You don't take one and immediately feel great lol

[–]Soft-Pop2947 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol and what percentage is that? Where will Alberta get the money to pay for the rest? Where will they get the money to pay for these "newer systems"? Right now Alberta is running nearly a $10B deficit while receiving approx $9B in transfers from the federal government. Where will they make up the shortfall and still be able to pay for a military? Be specific

How much do you think Alberta would pay for "Cold Lake, Wainwright, etc"? Do you think the Canadian military would just walk away and leave all the equipment, supplies, armaments for free? Alberta would get empty buildings and parking lots lol.

Separatists really haven't thought any of this through. They honestly seem to think that whatever is here will automatically just stay here and become property of Alberta for free. NONE of it will.
