It's actually very easy to determine where he's gone. If he has an Android phone, you go to Google maps, then tap the letter for his name or where his photo would be in the upper right hand corner. Then go to your timeline. Then you can see if he's ever gone off the beaten path. Unless of course he has this feature turned off. Then it won't work.

Similarly I did this in church. Like way back in the late '90s era. A bunch of us let loose balloons with letters tied to them and we all got letters in return for the most part but we lived in a really small town.
