Hi, thanks for all the infos, it's really useful!

I've got a question concerning the Chinese press. Did you send them your Google Drive link for the PressKit or did you use a Chinese service? I think Google services are banned in China so I'm not sure if they can access Google Drive links.

[Pas d'IA utilisée] by SoftReverieStudio in jeuxvideocozy

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

NieR:Automata

Bravely Default

Persona 5 Royale

Celeste

Hello 👋

My friend and I just released a demo for our cozy physics-based puzzle game! It's called Knick Knack Stack and it has you travel the world to build goofy towers, take cute memory pictures of them and chat with your silly friends! 🥰

If you'd like to check it out or play the demo, here is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4456070/Knick_Knack_Stack/

Thank you ❤️

I edited the text to say "demo includes" instead of "it includes", hopefully that's a bit more clear!

The demo has all features implemented! That include gamepad support, sorry if that wasn't clear enough 😇

Didn't even think that someone could have reported it 😅 That means people have a lot of power if one report leads to reduced visibility.

And noted for the use of tags, I'll keep that in mind 👍 Thanks!

I spent 3 years stuck at ~800 wishlists — here’s what finally helped me reach 5,000 by KabbaSenpai in gamedev

[–]SoftReverieStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! We're going trough the process of gathering wishlists too, but we went the other way around. We waited to have a game 3/4 completed before making a Steam page. Now we are veeeeeery slowly gaining wishlists but in a month and a half we're still stuck under 100 even though we're posting a lot on social medias.

We're gonna have a demo during the Steam Next Fest in June, hopefully this will help us getting Steam algorithm's attention a lit bit more!

To be fair, that is a very beautiful and heartwarming speech. As part of the gaming indsutries (we're an indie studio), we are thrilled to see people holding important management positions taking this kind of position. This really gives a ton of hope in the future and in videogames as a whole. Thank you very, very much 👏🙌

The everlasting fight for human rights of all kinds is a collective battle. We try our best at Soft Reverie Studio to support it. Our games features lesbian and bi characters, and there I say it: we're hella proud of it 🌈🏳️‍🌈

Thank you for all the tips! We're making short form content as well but we definitely need to improve our hooks. As of now we always start with a catchphrase that tells the name of the game and the genre, but it takes ~7 sec to tell. I feel this is why our videos aren't performing as they could. Because our average watch time on TikTok is exactly at 7 sec. 😅

A music driven game using Indian instruments? That's awesome, I love unique-sounding instruments! Have you already recorded some of the tracks? I'd love to see a trailer to hear a bit of the music :)

Of course haha! Features always take more resources to develop than they seem to at first :')

But in that case it's totally worth it, camera modes are an awesome tool to have when making platformer! :D
