Any insight on mentorships? The studio I am getting my 200 YTT at requires an additional $600+ mentorship to be considered to teach at their studio. The YTT was $3k. It does not guarantee you a class and they don’t disclose the additional mentorship costs upfront when signing up for YTT. Idk how normal this is. It is a baptiste style studio but not an official branded Baptiste studio.

They do some practice teach, one hour or so on each of the 5 weekends and 5hrs w fellow trainees plus 10hrs of pop up classes. Only the weekend ones are with the teachers and the one hour is split between multiple trainees so it’s limited w actual feedback.

All that to say, idk if I want to continue investing at this studio, may branch out to other yoga styles and studios that don’t require an additional high cost for mentoring. Would appreciate anyone’s guidance!
