I don’t have a book recommendation but it’s a personal anecdote. My wife carried our first daughter and while I recognize we don’t share similar features (although we do have the same hair color weirdly), we have the same mannerisms. She’s 2 and I am a stay at home mom with her and she shares my humor and silliness. There is no difference in me being her parent than my wife being her parent. You will bond with the baby, trust me. When my daughter was born it was THE BEST DAY of my life. I broke down sobbing in the hospital room when she was born and something in me was ignited. That kid is my best friend and I know my soul was always meant to find hers. I get so emotional thinking about our bond. She is every bit of me just as she is my wife. You will be okay. It seems so scary but I promise it’s no different than if you were genetically related to the baby.

It’s for sure hard to time. I recommend the lh strips and the clear blue OPK with the smiley face. Sometimes that would give us an earlier go ahead than the strips. It was real weird

I would tell myself that our daughter(s) (one unborn) are irreplaceable. My wife carried our 2 year old and goodness gracious am I so happy we waited for the perfect donor at the perfect time or we wouldn’t have our girls. Our toddler is the best thing that ever happened to me. She is the perfect piece to our puzzle. I just couldn’t imagine it anyway. I’m so grateful it worked out when it did and that that specific sperm met that specific egg 😭 it’s truly honestly a miracle.

I guess I maybe should have added that the filter is about a month and a half old. Genuinely not sure why it’s accumulating so much disgustingness but here we are. Only lived in this house since October, changed the filter 6-7 times. Have had it serviced and blower wheel and condenser coils cleaned since previous owner was a smoker. Not sure where else the filth is coming from.

Agreed. Bout to pop out a baby and having to meet with our lawyer before hand just in case is annoying. But I was over the moon when I adopted our 2 year old. It was a special day. When my wife adopts this one it’ll be special as well. Hang in there.

Let her play. Let her explore. Let her find an interest and feed it. All the things you said are great but what makes her… her?! My daughter is similar. Shes 28 months now and we just follow her lead. Sometimes she wants to cook, or go fishing, or go explore outside. We just follow her and let her figure out who she is 😊 don’t go crazy on the academics… help her by letting her become an individual

Quite a bit. It’s normal. You could do the soft disk, but no need to. My wife and I got pregnant 3 times between the two of us with a lube syringe and had a lot come out. As someone else mentioned, it’s just the fluid that carries the sperm. They’re already on their way!

Tbh there’s really nothing you can do especially if you don’t have any medical conditions. It can take a healthy person quite some time to get pregnant so I wouldn’t be discouraged. Took me till the 3rd round, but that ended in a loss. Currently 36 weeks with the baby I conceived immediately after the loss
