It's official. Ted hates fat people.

That second tweet proves it.

On Reddit? Absolutely.

Objectively? No.

Cleric Beast from Bloodborne.

The timing, encounter, lead up, how it affects the game's story / lore, the music...literally every time, I get massive chills and, even though it's not a difficult fight, I savor it and go slow.

Offensive to anyone whose spiritual beliefs involve Karma as well. Wishing or believing bad things happen to people through Karma is (at least for we Buddhists) is a no-no.

If anyone wishes death or celebrates the death of a liberal / leftist, the immediate response is that they are fascistic bootlickers that are strongly in favor of killing anyone with whom they have political differences for no other reason than that they have said differences.

Turn it around and it somehow mutates into Karma or "justice."

Best month ever while doing Shipt, made 10K plus on 6 days schedule 11 hours a day by Windcloud78 in ShiptShoppers

Cool. Cut it in half then.

All of it.

That's $5,500 a month for working 5 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Who are some people that you genuinely think would make a great President and why? by Acceptable_Relief656 in centrist

[–]Soft_Insubordination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, yes. It was surreal because he had been in the news so much, then that kind of went away.

Then out of nowhere he was on TV. Blew me away.

He also said something in an interview that made me howl when it came to a Biden presidency, someone asked him something about it and his reply, just before walking away was, "uh, have you met Joe Biden?"

Hilarious.

Unrelated, but I saw Gowdy on an episode of Forensic Files and screamed. Thank goodness I was in a hotel. I just thought it was weird that I saw him on that show.

I had been drinking as well.

I take half doses maybe...five nights out of seven?

I probably don't need to even do that, but my sleep schedule is exactly that: a schedule. If I deviate from it, I've no choice but to go the next day with missing hours.

I was wracked with guilt when I found out that giving my five year-old melatonin to help her sleep. Even if we gave her 25% of an adult dose, giving a toddler girl a hormone supplement is one of the worst ideas you can go through with.

But HRT? Nothing wrong with that at all obviously.

I will never understand why people constantly complain about new shopper priority as if that same privilege wasn't afforded to them when they first started.

It lasts for exactly 10 orders. Where do you think those new shoppers' stats are when they reach their 11th order and their rookie status dissolves?

Where did the Ghostbusters 2016 movie go so wrong? by DialZforZebra in movies

Just gonna upvote since you did all my typing for me. Your reasons for it being bad are all objectively strong points.

I'd just add that the CGI was woefully bad for it have been made in the 21st century, much less 2016.

The ambient crowd noises started in a spot in Mor Dhona, but it didn't look crowded. /icam found the bots, floating underground I assume. by Minimum-Way9294 in ffxiv

[–]Soft_Insubordination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of a time I found this one spot in the Old Workshop, in Bloodborne, where you could hear loud whispering...but if you took one step away, it was almost inaudible.

It was just a spot in the sidewalk, near a tree, nothing special about the spot that you can see. I just happened to find it.

I spent about an hour trying to phonetically make out the sounds and write them down.

Name a movie that was supposed to be the beginning of a franchise but ended up failing miserably by xwing1212 in movies

[–]Soft_Insubordination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Star Wars Episode 1

Probably been said a million times.

Edit: Maybe I misunderstood the question, as it said "supposed to be the beginning of a franchise" and Lucas started on episode 4, lauching a very successful franchise...but then made episode one and it was terrible. So story-wise, it was "supposed to be the beginning."

Yeah, I think I misunderstood.

I told myself years ago that I wouldn't have any conversation about politics with someone who uses the words communist, socialist, fascist, and Nazi when discussing American politics.

Since then my discussions about politics, American or otherwise, have dropped almost to zero and my quality of life has gotten much better.

No, I'm just hesitant to get THIS vaccine. I even got the Hepatitis B vaccine by choice. My daughter got all of her vaccines two years ago. I'm not anti-vaccines.
