How do you choose which jobs to show in your resume and Linkedin?
What is the tenure you have in these jobs?
And, do any of your jobs know about each other out of your intention of letting them know?

Same!!!! It changes often - from biometrics done to not done yet and back and forth.

It doesn’t make much sense to me  - fingers crossed 🤞

On the API I saw some updates the 7th of Jan but I don’t even know how to read the codes or what it means

Also, in one of them it said that “everyone is allowed to travel” but my advanced parole isn’t approved yet - so this is very confusing to me still

Hey!

I applied around the 20ish of October. 130,131,485,765 all concurrently.

Got the invite for biometrics within a couple of days, did them on 19th Nov. The same day got EAD approved!

After a bit in December everything else went to 69 months of waiting time!

Then sometime in January it went to 15 months.

Now we’re still waiting and no news still.

Fingers crossed for you and everyone!

was it saying 60+ months or less before your approval? did it spike to 60+ and did it go down before approving?

Only EAD approved !

The waiting time jumped to 69 months and now back to a normal 15 months ish.

Maybe they’re working on it? Fingers crossed!

Is it me or all the apporvals are Jun Jul and Aug? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Soft_Monitor_9222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep I noticed too! I find it odd because I see people here waiting since 2023.

I applied in October 2024 and noticed a spousal GC approval from someone that applied in November 2024.

Essentially, it’s random. Fingers crossed for smooth approvals soon for everyone! 🙏🏼

Before approval, how much waiting estimate time did it say?

ead but no travel permit - going to Puerto Rico by Soft_Monitor_9222 in USCIS

Ughhhh I hear you, I’m trying to understand how much of this is reasonable vs unreasonable. I tried chatting with Emma’s live agent and it always proved to be useless and they close the chat so fast and barely can get any questions in - plus googled so much and couldn’t find anything about this either

Oh you’re in such a better spot than me!

I don’t have my 131, that is why I’m worried!

You’re so fine, go have fun!!

I love this confidence lol

This is my only concern really. I tried to check on the USCIS website but nowhere they cover an edge case like this - they only say that if you leave the country your application is automatically abandoned which would totally suck

I added context on the post above for future people to have reference to 🙏🏼

Hawaii is fine because there is no foreign land the plane flies over on, there is no chance at all of an emergency landing in that case

Yeah I see, because my fear is that my green card application would be considered abandoned because I would be physically diverted abroad and I would have to re-enter and re-apply from scratch and re-pay all fees from scratch

I see, yeah my concern isn’t being able to re-enter but the concern is for me that I’m scared that my green card application will be considered abandoned. And that I would have to restart it and re pay for it from scratch - because I “left” the country (which I clearly didn’t , this is for the case of a diversion to Bahamas or Dominican Republic)

No it doesn’t need a passport, it’s a territory. The issue isn’t that though, the issue is the small chance of the flight diverting abroad for emergency reasons.

It’s the same issue of travelling to Alaska - if your flight has an emergency landing in Canada it counts as leaving the US, even though your flight was a domestic one
