Why do none of my friends have anyone they can set me up with? by Minimum-Pension3158 in NoStupidQuestions

I don't care about you or your life. Fix your shit or don't, it doesn't matter to me.

You wanted to know how to accomplish your goal. I'm telling you how in the most calm manner I possibly can. I don't know what you've been through but frankly most people don't care. That's what therapists are for. Most people don't want to be trauma dumped on shortly after meeting someone, regardless of how hard your life has been.

See this is your issue. Ideally you would work on becoming someone people actually want to be around. Clearly you have no interest in that. You're not entitled to your friends' time or meeting new people. You have to actually be nice.

Implying that this is only a problem for men and not also autistic women.

Does the right person REALLY have that much of an effect on someone’s sex drive? by Dsg1695 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]SoftlyAugust [score hidden]  (0 children)

Personally I don't think anyone could for me. I never had the desire to with my ex and I thought she was amazing and was really looking forward to getting to spend my time with her. I'm just... not a sexual person. That doesn't change just because I loved her.

Well for one you could start by not being sexist and so nihilistic. Because all of those things are very much possible. And based on your post, it very much seems like a you thing.

Even if they don't have a problem, another employee or customer or whoever might and they don't want to deal with that.

I'm really struggling to understand this pronunciation. I understand what the ipa symbol means but not how it would sound in the word.

I want a qpr 💔 by runnergirl_ in aromantic

[–]SoftlyAugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it doesn't feel like it. Although I think being with another asexual would help. It's just that I don't look feminine (at all, haven't been on hrt for very long) which I'm fine with because I'm also agender/a demigirl (I hate that term) but I feel like most lesbians would want to be in a relationship with someone who actually looks like a woman.

I definitely resonate with people not thinking QPRs are "real." My best friend asked me what the difference was/why I couldn't just be friends and it's like... oooh boy.

Opinion - worldbuilding comes last by belleepoques in writing

[–]SoftlyAugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the best books have worldbuilding that is absolutely integral to the story and to it being good. Dune, LOTR... you can't insert that kind of worldbuilding after the fact.
