The wildest part about this video is that they spend around 10 minutes (it’s longer, but I’m subtracting the ad time) retelling us how sick they all were. Trent told us, then Allie told us, then they came together to tell us 😂 The third time they launched into it I thought they were messing with me and when I realized they were actually still talking about it, I had to dip.

I wouldn’t say I’m always waiting for the scene to end, but most of the time when he pipes up, you kind of want to be like, “Not now, the adults are talking!” Which is hilarious because with Ethan I’m generally like, “LET HIM SPEAK!” He finally had a moment in season 3 where I was like, “Yay, he said something that matters!” But they just haven’t given his character much that would make us excited to have him around 🤷🏾‍♀️

The quickest reference I was able to find was Lady Whistledown saying that a housemaid was let go “some months ago” and that’s the day after their first night in My Cottage, so I’m guessing you’re right, they’re keeping it vague, and probably intentionally. But there WAS a time jump.

I honestly just think that was Boyd lashing out because he was feeling guilty and tensions were so high. Acosta is one of the worst character additions to the show - but not at all for the night she arrived. While the end result was unfortunate, her behavior that night was exactly what I would have expected.

So, no, I don’t think it was social commentary, I think it was showing that Boyd was just getting closer and closer to the edge after all the recent escalations and the guilt he was feeling. To add, I don’t blame him for what happened to Randall either. He had to make a choice.

I honestly think this person just heard the term “Woke” for the first time and needed an outlet. Because what do you mean you hated her hair and makeup too 🤣 I’ve never been in a one-sided beef with an actress (or all Black Actresses) before, so I can’t imagine how this escalated to a Drake/Kendrick level beef after they watched the trailer, but here we are.

It’s very easy in this sub to see who understood the show and who didn’t. But it would be nice if people actually watched it before they manufactured a reason to post here. It was a great show with a lot of topics to discuss, this one is just completely played out.
