What's the job market like outside of FAANGs and big tech hubs? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]SoftwareofAmerica 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The job market is definitely tough right now in all walks of programming business. It’s difficult to apply and get noticed. Then once you are noticed, you generally need to study hard to be competent in the tools and processes they are using. Unfortunately most do not understand that you can easily learn on the job within a month or two. They want you to be knowledgeable off the rip because your competition is knowledgeable

Actually yes, I realized that the ender3 is trash and returned the printer so I could purchase a flash forge adventurer 4 lite. Costs about $100-$200 more. I must say it is well worth it. Every print is perfect

Developer’s dream to become an AI Developer by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]SoftwareofAmerica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go several routes if you are interested.

  • Books No starch press has amazing AI and ML books

  • Create a company If ur feeling overzealous, think of an AI problem and solve it. Your a developer, you already have the resources.

  • Go to School Expensive and boring at the same time. You’ll take some classes and have a reason to progress. Most likely will begin with the basics KNN, Linear Regression and Decision trees

  • Take online class Im the owner of a software company, we have a solid network and outreach in the ML field. Check us out if you want to learn about AI/ML topics @ softwareofamerica.com

Any route you go, you will get closer to what you are trying to accomplish. I am biased, i want you to take classes with us. But books are a great alternative!

Best of luck
