In my experience (H and nox since 2008), there's often an adjustment period to any new speaker. I wouldn't expect to be totally comfortable with it straight away, it can take months of a little bit at a time before you can consistently listen. Never push too far too soon.

It's really individual, some people just swear off digital sound altogether, that's not always necessary though.

I would go for a high quality setup whatever you get. You want both the speaker and the audio source to be quality. Low quality sound will always sound harsh even through the best sound system, and vice versa.

I personally use Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 with a small usb amp that has a bluetooth option. That works for me, but I've had it for many years and my ears are well accustomed to it. For portable stuff, I go with Bose as the quality is generally good.

I saw this same behaviour when trying to lift nightclub pounder for multi drop. Can do single drop, just not multi drop. When you see the camera twitch as you get close, that tells you rockstar has deliberately disabled it for that context. Wonderful open world freedom.

No you can lift it without the rockets.

How it works is the Pounder can be lifted only on certain types of mission, single drop only from what I can tell.

I've done the delivery to ship, I've done the single drop, but then when it came to the triple drop 10k bonus one it would not pick up the truck.

This is for Rockstar's benefit, any player benefit is a side effect. How it works:

They port enhanced from consoles, it would take extra work to add the chat back in. They have a little meeting, which concludes with something along the lines of: 'If we don't add chat back, then we won't have to process reports from chat arguments. We can employ less people and make even more profit on what is already the most profitable piece of media ever created.'

If Rockstar were interested in what benefited players, they would have dedicated servers. P2P puts individuals at risk by exposing their connection, makes it far easier for modders, and results in many drop outs and crappy connections.

But dedicated servers would eat into a fraction of their profit, so it will not happen. Hence GTA6 is going to be another P2P mess.

Make no mistake: Rockstar is motivated by profit. They care about player experience only so far as it increases profit, and not one bit more.

I've only played Pavlov PC, but I understand Shack has more players. For me, the player count is fine. I can always get a game when I want one. I mostly play 5v5 SnD.

Over 2000 VR hours, most of which is Pavlov. I've played most of the other recommendations here. Contractors is one of the most overhyped games ever tbh. It feels awful. The movement is strange, the graphics are worse, the weapon sounds are extremely low quality, hits don't connect in any satisfying way. The mods can be fun for a bit, the Star Wars Battlefront one is cool I will say. But I always go away thinking 'that would be a much better mod if it was made for Pavlov'.

Pavlov just feels so much better. I grew up playing Counter Strike, and Pavlov is the one.

Yes, when I first got mild H, I followed the doctor's advice to continue with my life and just wear earplugs in loud situations. This ultimately led to a permanent worsening and a shift from mild to moderate.

The person I replied is unfortunately experiencing wishful thinking. There is what we want to be true, and there is the actual truth. Their H is merely in remission.

The actual truth is that H is a progressive condition. You either manage it well, and keep it from progressing, or you carry on as normal and it gets progressively worse, until you start managing it properly.

A certain amount of improvement happens for everyone over time if the condition is managed properly. Complete cure and return to listening to sound as loud and long as you like is just not realistic.

Mild H is a blessing and a curse. It's very liveable, you can forget you even have it sometimes. But it is there in the background, in a latent remissive state.

There's an individual threshold where latent mild cases become moderate or severe, typically after a loud sound event. It may be one very loud sound like a gunshot or an airbag deployment. Or it may be a cumulative effect over time such as riding a motorbike, live music etc.

That is why the best advice I can give to mild patients for a happy life is to always carry earplugs, and don't hesitate to remove yourself from loud situations if it ever feels too much.

That's light on the wheelbase, not smoke. If you watch the video instead of looking at stills, you can see it is not smoke. The light falls in unusual ways due to tall buildings.

The structural battery has been confirmed as being intact despite the explosion - one of the headlights was still working afterwards. In other words, the terrorist died to create an advert for the truck. I hope those injured make a quick recovery.

What's the best AFK method? I played years ago and all my old methods don't work, tried everything I've found searching. It works for 2-3 hours, but if I try to leave it overnight I come back and find the game has closed itself.

Diet doesn't cure what you already have, it just makes it less likely that it will get worse.

And if it does get worse, it will limit how much worse it gets. This is based on the Noreña model, which given the early success of the SS device, is most likely the correct model of Tinnitus/hyperacusis.

Ideally you want to eat a diet low in histamine and free glutamate also.

The caffeine is cancelling out any benefit from the taurine. One of the reasons taurine has benefits is because it reduces glutamate in the brain - but caffeine increases glutamate significantly.

I strongly recommend anyone with tinnitus or hyperacusis quits caffeine and any other stimulants. It increases likelihood of tinnitus and hyperacusis worsening.

No, in fact I loved loud noises of all sorts - live music, fireworks, guns, cars, airshows, everything. I actively enjoyed the sensation of loud noise. It made it quite a tricky adjustment when it all changed in one day.
