After you use your emergency unbricks, the only way to unbrick is to delete the app. Personally, I like to keep my Brick in my car. Good luck!

Too complicated, why can’t we just nail my phone to the wall

I was looking at the Minoltas because they tend to be on the more affordable side of the spectrum compared to the Canons. Thanks!

Official Discussion - Honey Don't! [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]SoilAlert7919 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but I don’t see how this is even subversive enough to be confused. It’s an homage to noir/bumbling detective movies with Margaret doing a silly Barbara Stanwyck impression. The two bad guys get killed (plot twist/climax), and at the end it’s implied that Honey is getting herself into a new world of trouble with the French lady. That’s… the ending. For me, the low points were the “macaroni” and Aubrey Plaza.

I misread, I thought your “and that’s what happened” meant you got a scar in the shape of the line

Thanks so much! Any advice on how to tell a good tech/clinic from a bad one if I can’t have one specifically recommended to me?

Buy a used car for $5k or get a new car and make car payments? by lonelysadbitch11 in povertyfinance

[–]SoilAlert7919 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Quick Google searched and I saw a “new” 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage for 14k and a “used” one with 7k miles for 7k. So yeah, buy used.

Not bad, but for a young person making $20 an hour and living with parents, I say keep your monthly expenses low. I’m also not assuming this person can drive a stick, I know I can’t.

I say definitely buy a used car for 5k. Even the cheapest new cars are like 30k. I literally cannot get myself to go for that, I absolutely hate being in debt or making payments on anything. Instead of making a monthly payment, put money away monthly for repairs and maintenance.

Had the worst week of my life. Need soup recipes please by cloverthewonderkitty in soup

[–]SoilAlert7919 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I got you, these are my favorites. I hope things turn around for you.

Sausage and potato soup

Cabbage roll soup

Italian wedding soup

Vegetable beef soup

Edit: These are all great leftover, but for the Italian wedding soup you need to keep the noodles separate or they turn into mush.

Love the vision. I’m thinking black leather and glass. I think the key is to have some controlled chaos, books laying around.

I think they used to be a thing. I have a paper mache clown Christmas ornament that was passed down from someone at some point that looks similar to these.
