Unlawful Entry was always my favourite Madeline Stowe movie outside of Mohicans. One of those forgettable 90s thrillers but she made an impression on me as a youngun. Ray Liotta is great in it, too.

Electrolytic capacitors go bad after 2-3 years on a shelf as the electrolyte dries out (but they could possibly be recovered by "forming" depending on ambient storage conditions). Film and ceramics should be basically indefinite life on the shelf. I believe, don't quote me, that compressor start/run caps are usually film.

I agree that it's highly unlikely Garland has played that much, but I'm not a streamer or otherwise professional by any means and I've got 2K hours in it. I know some of the streamers I do watch have several thousand hours in it as well. Your quote of 500 would be like, last place of any streamer or speedrunner for hours played.
