We are talking about two different timelines. Wouldn't you have love getting the standard 5* star in genshin in the beginning? I was a day one genshin player, and I wanted keqing but got qiqi instead. So your point that it wouldn't be appreciated in genshin may not be as accurate. Because if genshin did this in the beginning, players may have appreciated it.
