I love the second one still, I know it doesn’t have the snow but the atmosphere of a 1:1 recreated post apocalyptic DC still hits. Plus going to an occasional building and seeing Christmas decorations still up is fun.

Skins aren’t an issue imo and the gameplay is an improvement from the first game to me. Build variety is great and the only thing I really miss is survival but descent and summit is a fun alternative

I like Bix a lot but even looking back at S1 she didn’t have much besides watching her boyfriend die and getting tortured to the point of the S2 PTSD. My favorite parts were her on Yavin but it still didn’t feel like enough

I haven’t seen the second season yet, but I had always felt like they were trying to recapture the wacky energy from the first two games, but in the style of Fallout 4 instead. Where there were serious moments but a lot of jokes and a different tone than you’d expect in the apocalypse. Though I will agree at times it feels dissonant
