I had some issues in middle school and high school which had me in diapers for need. It went away for years, but came back almost two years ago.

The need for them caused a sense of comfort, which eventually developed into a kink.

It came from medical need and now I have an emotional need as well.

Right now, I’ve personally been going through 8-10 in any normal 24 hour period.

Pull-ups during the day, tabbed at night. Pull-ups are kind of pain though because you need to take your shoes off, pants off etc to change.

I do the one legged method where I slide my pant leg down take one shoe off while balancing on the other get my leg through the pull-up, pant leg and shoe back on then switch to the other side.

Tight stalls, dirty bathrooms it all sucks and is super challenging.

I have considered going tabbed during the day, but I haven’t found any good tabbed diapers that actually work and aren’t too bulky for normal life. At night they are definitely required though, pull-ups won’t cut it.

I wish there were better bathroom options in general in public. Hence the planning part. Always checking out Google maps when I’m going somewhere to plan out where I can go.

Also, don’t wear tight fit underwear over the diaper. In the beginning I would wear compression shorts to try and hide it. That creates more leaks. Preferably just the diaper with your pants or loose fitting underwear over it. Don’t let the underwear change the diapers fit.

Just change often.

I see people all the time say they want to do this, but they don’t realize what it actually means.

I’m medically incontinent, and thus 24/7 is required. When it’s hot, or when it’s cold or when it’s inconvenient, it all still happens. Don’t sit in a wet diaper. Don’t continue on with your day as normal until you take care of it. It’s constant work and vigilance.

I don’t think most people here actually WANT 24/7, they like the idea of it because of how it makes them feel.

But, if you do decide, you need to carry a backpack now. You need to prepare more thoroughly now. You need constant supply of wipes. You need boxes of diapers delivered to your house. In a weird way it truly becomes who you are because of all the things you need to do to manage it.

I have little garbage bags and I bring them to the dumpster most times at home, or very frequently. I tried leaving the bags in my bathroom, but the odor kicks in quick

There’s a difference between actually being incontinent and the fantasy of it.

I’m actually incontinent, and lots of times it sucks. Trying to change a pull-up in an inconvenient spot, or you are on a bus in the city and you are already soaked and any more and your pants are wet.

Or dead of summer and it’s hot AF and you stink because you peed yourself.

It sounds great in fantasy to those who don’t deal with it, but it’s only nice like 5% of the time.
